Asda customer service staff are rude and incoherent. When stopped as happens often on the self service checkouts being dismissed with a rude gesture whilst you are trying to do a quick shop is not acceptable. Asda your staff need re training in basic human etiquette and customer service, preferably in that order as I’m sure it will take a while for them to grasp the basics. Your young customer service representative whom wears glasses is always polite, friendly and helpful, the rest of your staff walk around like they have either a serious grievance with the world or a large obstacle stuck where the sun doesn’t shine.

Great place to shop

Several times the item required is shown as " In Stock "The problem is that it's NOT !This is a ploy to get you into the shop in the hope that you'll buy "SOMETHING"whilst you're there !

Deserves no stars for a few reasons. The shop is a mess. The shelves are not stocked, adequately. There was a tiny number of staff to ask for assistance on the shop floor. There was an extremely intimidating male shop assistant prowling around the tills who approached me and seemed agitated. He was bossing me around and it was just weird and creepy. You reply to comments here in a juvenile manner with "hey" and "hi there"... It'll be much appreciated if you treated your customers with some respect online and in real life.

I had two times bad experience from your staff approach and attitude today the 25.11.23 .First I had asked for the place to find the frozen corn and the man was organizing the frozen veg said the place which I couldn't find and I have asked it again and he was abrupt with his behaviour and shown the stuff and I felt almost he was throwing the veg.on me as I have asked it for twice. I have apologised him for asking second time. The second was in the till as the man in the till was unhappy the way my son put the basket on the corner side and he was rough with his attitude and he got up from the till to put the basket in his way and was teaching us how it should be placed.I am a long term customer with you and I felt insulted today and I feel I won't come to you for shopping any more.

Awful experience today.Firstly an alarm at the back of the store constantly going off - driving me and others insane. Staff on the floor were completely lacking. Self serve tills state cash or card but after putting through all my items I found out the cash option was turned off - I was faced with a sarcastic and less than helpful comment from staff. If the till does not accept card normally you have a box alerting you clearly - physical signs should be covered saying that cash was accepted. More staff should be on duty - especially self service. Till lines were long which was the only reason I went self serve.Don't think I'll ever return.

Absolutely horrible place have a to queue to us self service and staff are oblivious that only one person is not enough to manage 20ish self-service tills. Had to wait 3 mins whilst the old dear dealt with another customer lucky I was next as I was dealt with next. Other customers weren't so lucky. Had a 22 minute wait (before i was seen) for a click and collect

A strange experience here, mostly friendly staff, with the exception of a miserable, grumpy young lady assisting in the self scan area.If you don't like the job, find another.

Visited on Saturday 30th of September. The shopping went fine and found most of what we needed, but the queues for the checkouts were massive. Despite being a Saturday and a extremely busy store only 2 checkouts were open. The self checkouts and shop and go trolly areas were also backed up what little staff there were seemed unable to cope .we queued for 28 mins.More tills should be open at busy times

This Asda needs a sort out, the shop is a absolute mess, there’s been a McDonald’s cup on a shelf for 3 days solid, (I visit a lot as I’m local and stupid) the toy isle especially is just a mess. The self service tills are a absolute nightmare. The other day my partner and I was stood waiting for 15 minutes before we could find anyone to help, and that’s the usual occurrence, it was the middle of the day on a weekday and not busy. So this shouldn’t be an issue. And today my partner has now been stood at the tills for 10 minutes waiting for someone to actually do their job, all the tills waiting for staff. 10 minutes so far….
