“We had no preconceptions regarding Chom Chom, but family members who live in Canterbury were very complimentary about it. Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff, and seated in a lovely spot to then decide on drinks first - well, it would be rude not too! So, onto food. One thing to note is that the atmosphere is very relaxed here. The staff are very watchful and attentive, and so, so lovely. Often with buffet type settings, you're met with a few empty sections, which can be really annoying, making you feel somewhat cheated. Everything was replenished as soon as needed, so all good there. Food quality and standard. What can I say? I'm no food critic, or wannabe Egon Ronay, but I like what I like, and appreciate fresh, quality food. This ticked all the boxes (with knobs on), not just for me, but the whole family group of 4. The food, and what a variety, was absolutely superb - allfreshly cooked, and delicious! An all-round really good experience. Super food, lovely, genuine staff who were so nice, and you know what? Very good value too. In summary, just slightly off the 'beaten track', but a real gem. Go search it out. You'll be pleased you did.”
