I’ve never been inside the shop but order very regularly from Deliveroo. This is hands down my favourite chip shop, and the only one I’ll buy from in my area.This place misses out on 5 stars as the portion size of the chips are TINY, nothing like my hometown chip shops where a Large feeds a family of 4. A large chips here will not even feed 2 children, let alone 2 adults.

Had a small doner kebab its safe to say when you pay £9 for a small doner you at least expect it to be warm. The meat was hard, chewy and cold. The pitta was very dry and hard. I asked for chilli sauce and garlic sauce, be warned the chilli sauce you get is sweet chilli which does not go well on a kebab in my eyes. Dissapointed by this standard of food as the for the price i expected better.

They need to learn to count. Paid for four portions of chips and got home to find only 3 in the bag. Disappointing and not the first time this has happened. Previously forgot mush peas ?

Ordered from here many times last fish and chips we had was awful phoned to complain and lady said oh when you come in next time we will do you a free fish,next time came and denied it was even said very disappointed that's not looking after your customers is it. Once again hubby gave benefit of the doubt and last night tried a doner kebab most went in the bin. Will not be returning again I'm afraid ,and please oh we haven't served a done kebab last night because you did,prices may have gone up but foods definitely gone down such a shame.Parking: Lucky to grab a spot
Having used Marinos for a number of years I was very disappointed with the standard of food that I was served. Sausages overcooked and dry, chips also overcooked over priced and a large potion was barely enough for 1 person. Tasted awful. We normally get a large portion from other chip shops and there is always plenty for a family of 4. Attitude of staff not very welcoming. Won't be coming back, which is a shame.

I have literally just been to this chippy and to have to say the ladies that are serving the customers is awesome but the food is just as awesome I was in and out within 5 mins

We had medium cod and a large chips to eat out of boxes in the park. The fish was rather small but the quality was excellent - thick and white and perfectly cooked with light thin batter and the chips were excellent too. The previous customers before us had large cod and they were HUGE so next time I will order one large fish to share.

Apparently(as shown in picture) this is what £15 buys you in fish these days. When I was handed the fish I genuinely thought they'd wrapped a sausage up by mistake. To add insult to the injury sustained by my wallet, the fish tasted of nothing, not a hint of flavour of anything. Chips were not bad but for a supposedly large portion there weren't enough. Young lady who served me may be new but really should consider returning to charm school.There are many, many other chip shops in Canterbury, I'd recommend using any of them but this one.

Very disappointing I do not recommend anyone buy from here , some of the food went straight into the bin , the mushrooms in the photo were disgusting 4 in a portion not cooked properly the coating was cold and a thick soggy mess , the pineapple fritters were the same ,when I spend £40.00 on take out I expect to be able to eat it ,read your reviews and act upon them or you won't have a business leftreference reply as below , these 4 disgusting mushrooms did come on a skewer I took them off to eat and had to throw them away as not edible purchased Saturday, and the pineapple fritters the Saturday before
