Empty on a Friday night which should have sent me a message. Thick batter hard as nails, greasy old chips. It all tasted awful. Not sure what's happened, it must have changed hands because it was quite good in the past. Threw much of it in the bin.

Worst chip shop I've been to. Chips were old and recooked and hard. Fish was overcooked and batter hard. Pie was rock solid. Unfit for human consumption. Threw it all in the bin. What a waste of money.

Ordered 2 chicken & mushroom pies and 1 large chips. The chips were very hard and chewy - couldn't bite through them, some were undercooked in the middle. They tasted horrible, either re-cooked or cooked in old oil. The pies were extremely hard on top - couldn't bite through the pastry and soggy on the bottom. Will not be returning. No wonder there wasn't anyone else in the shop, it used to be so good and always busy when previous owners were there.

Neither of us could eat this. Both cod and chips tasted very strange, sorry but won't be using again.
Went at 5.30pm on a Friday evening.Chips were lovely. Ordered 2 large cod, and although the fish tasted nice, we felt they were small for a large cod, and too much batter.
