Manager unhelpful doesn’t know what the kitchen staff have and don’t have… ordered paid for food to wait for an hour and half to be told kitchen didn’t have it and to reorder, no clue on customer service only one that was half normal was the young boy who took our order the rest should be retrained.Food disgusting ?

I booked a table at the M & R as I'm a Marstons shareholder and take advantage of the 30% discount on food. I'd never been to Chatham before so took pot luck on the M & R! We were pleasantly surprised - the table was ready for 1830, the gluten free menu on the table as requested. The staff were excellent, the food as expected (good) and the pub was great. We were amused by the customer with his pet white duck!
