We've literally just got back from this place and we've been talking about it the whole way home. It's nicely hidden away but really beautifully laid out, really friendly staff, ridiculously quick with getting the food out to us, and the food was amazing. Our little 6 year-old said it was the best chocolate brownie he's ever had! So glad we stumbled upon it and next time we'll be back with an even bigger party.

Extensive authentic menu, prawn picado absolutely delicious, big portions, skewers looked amazing, good selection of wines, super bock beer on tap, truly felt like I was in Madeira even though it was a rainy grey day, authentic decor, excellent staff, great service.Honey tea was the icing on the cake!

Near miss.Nice venue, some good ingredients and staff who seemed to care. It wouldn't have needed much to be different to be a really good meal.Unfortunately the prawn, squid, and veal skewers were overcooked and the vegetables were reminiscent of school dinners. Good coleslaw, chips, mussels and halloumi though.Service was rather chaotic, where they didn't appear to know what was happening. Seemed to be plenty of staff, but 3 different people all trying to deal with us.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, the starters we had were incredibly delicious which had us anticipating great things for the main, however when these arrived they were very unwhelming and lacking flavour.

It’s for a sure beautiful place but today was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant, they had birthday so our food was 2 hours late. We got free complimentary bread and butter to say sorry? Also may I say the food was bland. Being Portuguese myself, big let down.
