“Our third visit to the Small Holding and another delightful experience, with the fish dishes on the 'Full Acre' tasting menu particularly standing out this time: two for me, plus a third for my companion whose diet does not include the venison which came after. Terriffic wine pairings, with everything presented well and introduced by the team ranging from enthusiastic to passionate.”

Lovely warm welcome at the bar, which continued throughout our lunchtime . 3 lovely main course meals inc fish special of the day, chicken bacon shortcrust pie ( deeelush!) & lovely cooked ham eggs and super scrummy chips. Superb fresh food, wonderful old style pub atmos with lovely friendly staff. I was visiting from my home in France & will come back next time for another visit. Highly recommended.
