Me and my husband came to stay at the premier inn hotel. We came down to the restaurant to have a bite to eat the food was amazing one of the best steaks we have had before.but the service was what stood out the most! Mason served us and was very welcoming and polite and for this reason we will be back again next year!Thank you so much

I've recently been diagnosed with an auto-immune condition and have had a very lonely and difficult 3 months, but my best friend and I made a plan to catch up in a way that I can rest, but still celebrate the holidays with her and her son without being too exposed or overdoing it - this restaurant/bar is part of the Premier Inn where I stayed the night and we had a fantastic long lunch here at The Beacon. The food and atmosphere were both excellent and at lunch the lady who seated us very kindly moved us to a more secluded area for my friend's son who has autism. I also returned alone for breakfast the next morning and really enjoyed the variety for the buffet. Both times I was served by a lovely lady called Somerset who had the nicest personality and went above and beyond for me/us, whether it was finding me some decaf tea, or fetching my friend's son some extra fries! It feels like a long time since I was able to do "normal" things or have random human interactions so I really just want to say thanks to Somerset and all the staff here for being so kind and inclusive and accommodating, it really meant the world to me. I am looking forward to coming back!Parking: You can park free for three hours but you must enter your vehicle registration on the tablet when you arrive.

Came here for new years eve dinner and cocktails with my wife as we was staying in the Premierinn attached. Was told couldn't order cocktails because they was out of stock of ice so couldn't order any drinks that need ice. Food came in dirty plates and the milk for my tea also came in a dirty cup with old residue stuck Inside.Staff was friendly and I cam see they try but the management is extreamly poor and everything is over looked. Most the fabric chairs was stained and can see have never had a clean.

Appalling service, asked for a table for one and was told we are closing early due to lack of sales how can a big company like beefeater not work there opening hours due to lack of sales when they are connected to a hotel that has guests coming all the way up to 11pm there closing time, I had a stressful 3 hour wait due to Dartford crossing been closed due to weather reasons and to top it off i am told sorry we are closing due to lack of sales you are a big branched company, now I am having to try and find food as I was waiting for my meal at the beefeater knowing they closed at 11, I would hate for someone to have made a trip there knowing they shut at 11 just to be turned away as they are closing due to lack of sales this is appalling service it’s not like I had me and a party of 10 with me! I was there by myself they could have catered for me as the opening hours state 11pm closing truly shocked and will not be eating there for the duration of my stay in the premier inn! SHOCKING.

I turned up to have a drink and a bite to eat, a new staff employee Ronnie was fab so helpful and he is new, other staff members made me feel nervous one in particular that was slower than him,but was quick to point out his mistake what a fab young man and a credit to the company, he was professional the whole time even tho he was new but he gave it 100% and that’s all we ever ask

We arrived for mum’s birthday party. The table was ready when we arrived. The staff were very attentive. The food was brilliant! Great choice. The waiters (Mark and Angie) were very helpful and friendly. The bar staff were also very friendly. The food was excellent quality and delivered in a timely manner. Would recommend!
