I came to Bella Italia for dinner yesterday and it was nothing less than outstanding. First of all my meal, I had the garlic doughballs for starters and they were cooked to perfection! Slight crunch on the outer layer and soft inside, yum! For my main I had the lasagne. Just right with the pasta, perfect amount of the sauce and also filling. I also want to praise my server Maria for being super helpful in recommending and helping me with the options what are served here. Throughout my meal she made sure everything was nice and my experience was the best here. Thank you Maria!

Love this place. The owner is a lovely bloke, always friendly and chatty. He accommodates and is reassuring for my girlfriend’s nut allergy and the food is always good. We had a table booked for 8pm but due to Google navigation we ended up being 30 minutes late. We half expected to be turned away but were over the moon that we were still allowed our table.
The waitress (sorry I didn't catch your name) had even come into work on her birthday.
I had a mixed grill which I loved especially the sausages.

We did not stay overnight at the Castle Hotel, but we came in for a late breakfast in the restaurant, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.
The restaurant has a very warm, elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The interior is tasteful and comfortable, with well-arranged tables, pleasant seating and lovely sofas with cushions, which all helped to create a relaxed and enjoyable setting. The table presentation was also very nice, giving the meal a sense of care and quality from the very beginning.
The service was friendly, polite and genuinely pleasant. We felt welcome and looked after, even though we were only visiting the restaurant rather than staying at the hotel.
I ordered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, and I must say the food was excellent. I eat out quite often in different restaurants, but I have not tasted bacon as good as this for a long time. It was absolutely delicious. I assume the restaurant must be using a very good local supplier, perhaps a local farmer, because the quality of the pork was outstanding. There were no unpleasant smells or aftertastes at all — just a clean, rich and very enjoyable flavour.
The bacon was cooked perfectly: not dry, not burnt, but beautifully done. The pancakes were also very soft, delicate and tasty. The combination with maple syrup worked perfectly, and I enjoyed the dish so much that I finished every last crumb.
I also appreciated the practical details. The toilets were very convenient and well equipped, with paper towels, a hand dryer, soap and hand cream. These small touches make a real difference and show attention to guest comfort.
Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to the Castle Hotel restaurant. The food, service, atmosphere and presentation were all excellent. It was a very pleasant surprise, and I would be very happy to return.

Had a lunchtime visit with the wife yesterday as our usual spot didn't open until 2.
Friendly service, very reasonably priced and oh my god the food was so good.
I had the steak supreme sandwich and my wife had the chicken shish kebab, for about £10 a dish the amount of meat we had in each of our meals must have easily made up £6-7 on its own.
Steak was juicy and tender, onion rings were crisp, bread was baked to perfection....
Wife said the chicken was marinated to perfection and so tender too.
The only thing if I'm splitting hairs is they served my sandwich on one of those chopping board things and I just do not understand why restaurants do this kind of thing nowadays, it's either really small plates or novel replacements for plates....
Maybe I'm just getting old ?

Would definitely visit again!

I had such a wonderful time at this family-run spot — it’s truly charming! It was a delight to try some authentic, less Westernized Chinese dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.

We started with chicken claws, tripe, morning glory, and a dim sum set — all absolutely delicious. For our main courses, we chose beef noodles and a dish featuring duck and pork served over rice. To round off our meal, we enjoyed some heavenly custard buns.

The prawn dim sum was definitely the highlight — tender prawns wrapped in delicate, almost see-through dough. The chicken claws and tripe had nice textures, though they could have used a bit more flavor — perhaps a touch of garlic, greens, sesame oil, or seeds to enhance them. The morning glory also could have used a bit more seasoning. However, the main dishes were spot-on, and the custard buns provided a lovely, not-too-sweet ending.

Prices were really reasonable, making it easy to enjoy fantastic food without spending a fortune. I’m already looking forward to returning and exploring more of the delicious dishes on the menu! :)

I had a fantastic experience at Five Guys in Bluewater Mall. From the moment I walked in, the energy was upbeat and welcoming. The food, as always, was fresh, tasty, and exactly what you’d expect from Five Guys - but what really stood out was the service.

A special mention goes to Josh, who was working as the cashier and host during my visit. He was genuinely exceptional - friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth. Josh had that rare ability to make customers feel both valued and comfortable, creating a really positive atmosphere in the store.

It’s not often you come across staff who combine professionalism with such an easy-going, approachable attitude, and Josh managed it perfectly. He really elevated the whole dining experience, turning a quick bite into something memorable.

I’ll definitely be coming back - not just for the burgers and fries, but because the service here makes it worth it. Kudos

After reading some of the other great reviews, my wife and I visited for the first time here on Sunday 29/9 for lunch, and we were extremely surprised! I appreciate that Indian food may not be the go-to choice for most people's Sunday lunch, but I cannot fathom why were we the ONLY diners in the place? It's one of a few Indian restaurants open at lunch times. There's free parking behind the restaurant on Sundays too. We opted for the four course lunch menu at a very reasonable £17.95 pp. The food was delicious and the service impeccable, and the staff were so polite. A bottle of wine, two beers and the food....all for £66 for two. Great value! The only point that slightly detracted from our lovely meal was that it would have been a nicer touch to have Asian style music, rather than pop playing softly in the background.

Costa Coffee is in a convenient location next to a car park that has large retailers BNQ Mark's and Spencers, TK Max, and Asda living with the famous Popeyes restaurant close by.
Costa has in my opinion the best lattes the only coffee outlet. That does a latte to my tastes the lattes and sandwiches are reasonably priced and has a lovely range of paninis and cakes ? ? the atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

We live in Whitstable but wanted to take Mum for Sunday lunch at a place local to her home in Dartford. The Rose filled the bill. Great Sunday Roast, the meals were all lovely, prices very reasonable and staff/service efficient and friendly. Highly recommend. Sue x

Great old pub from my youth, I used to live in Dartford and have been in there a few times, this was for a wake for a very close friend of ours. The staff are always pleasant, the wake was held in the back of the pub, so no regular customers were in there. The team looked after us very well, nothing more to say really, prices are reasonable for drinks, etc.

Decent sized meals decent price. I pretty much always get the same thing. Double burger meal and 20 wings. The service is always real quick and friendly. What I love the most is the fries. Honestly they are the tastiest skinny fries you can get bar none. Just love them so much. Had the 12 piece family bucket. Great value for money. Still just as good as ever.

Someone told me about the Pagoda chinese were brilliant. We usually order every week for takeaway. The lady on the telephone is lovely. Food is fantastic. I had crab and sweetcorn soup. Not had that since 1970. I was not disappointed. Everything ordered delicious. The chefs are really good. The delivery people are always pleasant. I recommend this takeaway 100%

Hard to find a good Chinese takeaway nowadays but this one banged. We got the set meal for 2 and added on a few cheeky extras which didn't go a miss. The lady behind the till was lovely, smiley and helpful. Only downside was I couldn't do up my top button afterwards!
