Why is this mcdonalds allowed to charge much more than other mcdonalds it can't be for the crappy service you get of the rude brain dead staff who stand there look at you and when you order just ignore you and walk off and laught just shows the level of their intelligence of a 5 year old

This is a McDonalds outlet that does not care about its environment. The litter in Station Road from this outlet is terrible. The Manager has been advised three times this week and has done nothing about cleaning up the area as agreed when it was first allowed to build a drive through. If this is the attitude of the Manager then how can you trust the food hygiene !

Very long wait, coffee machine not working, cold chips also over cooked, crispy chicken sandwich over crispy (burnt) lettuce was minimal compared to other branches. Very poor experience

Disgusting!!!!! No 1- hit or miss Mcdonalds ever for me!!! Too may kids working in there not taking orders correctly, listening to what's being said /ordered to them, or making the food incorrectly. OMG they are 1 of the Worse McDonalds I have EVER been too ever since they updated themselves & put that drive thru in. You have to check the bag EVERY flipping time, usually no napkins, once I bought & paid for a Double Big Mac, I got home only to find out that some clown put a standard Big Mac in a Double Big Mac box, I called the number to complain as per flipping usual no one answers the phone, so I drove back down there to get what I paid for- waste of my time, my petrol & my 1 hour lunch & going round the 1 way system again. Today Tuesday 25 July 2023, they've gone 1 worse then usual. At the drive thru- I checked they put napkins in the bag- check! I get all the way home after going round the 1 way system again, I get home, open the bag, open the Big Mac box and I was given a dirty Burger box, I open the lid and what do I see? a Big Mac only fit for the bin or an animal of some sort. Make your own judgements from the pictures!

Treated my son to a happy meal at McD for being a good boy for waiting for his sister's dance lessons to finish and the meal was as fast-foody as it gets. Fast forward one week I received a letter stating I have stayed 19 minutes over the limit and had to pay a £100 (£60 if you pay early) fine. Went back to have a chat with the duty manager and all she has to offer was to tell me even staff have to pay fines... After a quick research online to find out that this has always been an issue with McD (with car park) and regardless of whatever the reason to visit their establishment might be, the audacity of thinking that they are attracting customers with their ever shrinking fast food is beyond comprehension. I am a father of two kids, 8 and 5. And the idea of penalising me of £60 for overstaying at their not so busy establishment on a Saturday afternoon is maybe the reason why McD as a whole is losing money and popularity. At this rate Burger King and KFC wouldn't even need advertising to gain business.

Waited half an hour and got the order wrong twice. I've been here a few times and they've got the order wrong more times than they've got it right.

This was the 1st time I’d used the drive through here. Having read some negative things about it, I then saw a positive comment on FB. I must say the positive comment I’d read was about the politeness and friendliness of the drive through staff which I found to be correct. Some nice polite young people, great to see. I ordered a burger and fries but couldn’t add a McFlurry or milk shake as the machine was broken!! Now when in the past I’ve brought from here it seems the McFlurry machine is often out of service, why is this I wonder? The burger and fries where good but maybe could’ve been a bit hotter as I only live 2 minutes drive away and the food although acceptable could’ve been a bit hotter

Ordered from here probably 4-5times and honestly the WORSE McDonald’s there is! The fries are always cold and dry, the burgers looks like they have been thrown on the floor then picked up, barely any sauce in the burgers, just an awful McDonalds. Better off driving to Princes roundabout McDonald’s. They are always busy but food is X100 better

What happened to service with a smile… Staff on drive thru clearly don’t want to be there.. didn’t have to wait long for the food tonight but it was cold. They had clearly cooked too much too soon (could see all the fries boxed up and drying out under the lamp). If you try and call it’s worse than trying to get through to the doctors.. Check food before you leave and request fresh while you still can!

First visit since it has changed, over 10 minutes for a cup of tea again all deliverys take priority. Thought I would give it a second chance, Daughter went down, I was on the phone when she ordered, 2 out of 3 orders wrong and the cheeky gits charged us for sauce and still gave us ketchup instead of bbq. The order that was right I took 1 bite, brought it back, got a refund plus my 10p for the wrong sauce. Car park idea was very silly too, You get people driving in the wrong way. A small head on collision will happen very soon..... People actually get paid to implement these ideas.

The place is unrecognisable. Light, bright, sparklingly clean and fresh new decor in and out. Cool new furniture, food fast, hot and very tasty. That hasn't changed, but the whole atmosphere and surrounding areas are superb. Going to be lovely lunching there outside in the Summer. A great fresh upgrade McD's , well done and keep it going!
