Just moved into the area and tried out the local takeaways. This is by far the best Chinese we've tried. Really nice staff, quick delivery and quick to order in store. The food is lovely too.

I've used N.G.C. for well over 10 years now and always recommended it to friends and previously awarded it 5 stars for quality, value & friendly staff. However, my last two takeaways have sadly been well below par, one strike is fair enough... but two meals a few weeks apart says something different. The duck dish had just a few tiny pieces of meat, the fried rice dish was bland and more like boiled rice with liquidised chicken pieces and the coating on the grilled chicken dish was extra chewy like it had been over-cooked in a microwave. The recent price increase is fair enough, but only if the quality of the food justifies it, and I'm afraid it doesn't anymore, so I'm afraid I will have to try and find a new Chinese Takeaway :-(

Had a takeaway from here tonight for the first time in many years. Have to say I am honestly very impressed. Friendly staff and quick service.Now for the food... The pancake rolls are like a meal in themselves.. They are massive. Sweet & Sour chicken was excellent. Most takeaways around here, the sauce tastes and smells like vinegar but not here. Very tasty and the chicken is so soft..Will be ordering again soon
