Nice pub with live music outside every time I have been. It would benefit from a little more shade and green areas in the 'garden'/outside area. But staff where helpful and friendly.
Went for some lunch on a sunday. No carvery but a solid menu of pub favourites and a specials board. I liked my curry, others had crab, fish and chips but the burger was the star. Huge and juicy. Had the car so no pint. Lots of fascinating cricket collectables to sit amongst. Busy but well organised with nice staff and friendly owner too. Would recommend for a good hearty pub meal when in Deal.

Food was good, hot and a reasonable price. Portions were quite large, so was pretty good value.Catch of the day did have quite a lot of bones remaining, and the wait at the bar was quite long.Good selection of beers on tap, and a surprisingly broad selection of gins.
