“Oh my word! I have eaten fish and chips all over the UK and this is the best chip shop ever! The cod was thick and succulent and piping hot (even when we got home 10 mins later). Lovely friendly staff/owners. Pristine premises and it looks great too. I cannot recommend highly enough!”

“This is by far the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Well worth the visit; be warned, come hungry as the portions are generous! No photos, food was demolished before we thought to take them.”

“Rarely leave reviews, unless somewhere or somebody is really exceptional in what they do. This place ticks those boxes. The young man who runs the shop (when we’ve been in) is super friendly, calm and seemingly unflappable, even when catering for a wedding on the beach and kept customers in the shop happy and feeling looked after. The fish and chips are freshly cooked, great sizes and fair prices. There are other places but I won’t ever find out if they are as good or better - wouldn’t want to risk it. A1 , keep it up!! ?? ? ?”

“Great chips, unfortunately overpriced though.

I bought a medium size portion of chips, they were fresh out of the fryer and cooked just the way they should be - nice and crispy on the outside & fluffy on the inside.

The portion size was quite small considering the price, hence 4 stars.

“I’ve been coming here since I was a small child and it’s lovely to see some of the same people running it. Best chips in town! They’re so busy sometimes I cannot understand how they remember everything and handle the crowds. 5 out of 5 just for that!”
