We arrived in Deal, and we started to look for somewhere to have lunch. We stumbled on the Lane. I had the burger, which was the best one I have had for many a year. Without doubt we will be back in the not too distant future. As they say it is well worth a detour to go to your restaurant.
Dropped in today and managed to get a table without a reservation. Nice atmosphere and very welcoming. Have a lovely lunch, club sandwiches and some fries and I have got to say, it was delicious!! Great portion sizes, great service, lovely place, tasty food and all reasonably priced. Have tried to eat here before but could never get in but today we managed it and it was definitely worth the wait. Totally recommend and will certainly be coming back.

Lovely staff and delicious food as always! The breakfasts here are to die for! The only comment I would say is that no one came to check how our food was but everything was really lovely. Highly recommend!
