We get our birthday cakes from here. Always delicious and always look exactly how we asked. Price is very reasonable and can be alot vheaper then other bakerys. We come from margate just to get our cakes/brownies. Also the savoury snacks are so tasty would also recommend

I was recommended the Lane Bakery and was not disappointed . The staff were lovely and very helpful. The cake was for an 80th birthday and I wanted a certain theme and this was achieved with the help and advice of the staff . The cake was excellent and very tasty I. Was so pleased A Big Thank you to every one at the Lane I will certainly come again.

I bought a delicious cake for our wedding celebration from the standard cakes selection they offer at The Lane Bakery and apart from tasting very good it looked absolutely fantastic. Both Georgina and Alicia were super helpful, I would highly recommend them. They even baked a little gluten free cupcake for one of my guests, they just added it to their normal afternoon tea cupcakes gluten free baking! Very happy customer.

I ordered a cake for my daughters 21st birthday, a tall basic green cake with gold flecks.. I saw the picture on their website in burgundy and gold it gave other colour options so we chose green as it our daughters favourite, when I arrived to collect it, it wasn’t the cake I had ordered, I included a photo and clear description, the young lady in the shop was very apologetic, she was the one who pointed out this is not the cake that you ordered as she had the order form in front of her, it was green and gold but a short fat old fashioned cake with no gold splashes on the top no nice piping just fought edges a bit of a mess really, but as the party was only a couple of hours away we had no choice but to leave with the cake, the assistant promised that she would get her boss to contact me, she doubled checked my contact details, but still not heard after nearly a week, it did taste lovely I can not fault that, just disappointed that it wasn’t the correct cake and that nobody has contacted us.. see attached photos

I wanted to purchase a special cake for my husband's 70th birthday celebration with family. I visited first to see what was on offer and work out service and cost details and received friendly helpful and courteous attention. A few days later I returned to place my order, then again to collect the most amazing Ferraro Rocher cake. It travelled safely to the party venue and the whole family were impressed with the size, appearance, decoration and flavour and texture of the cake. Good sized portions for all with some left over to give to friends and neighbours. It was a huge success. Thank you x
