Popped by for a couple of drinks with a Deal local. Brilliant little pub, lovely atmosphere inside, would recommend to anyone visiting deal to pop by.

Nice old fashioned boozer, a limited choice of interesting beers, there was lot of local real ales (Gadds on offer), which is good but no craft ale offering, shame when Time & Tide is so good and very

A wonderful pub with very nice staff and friendly regulars. We were there almost every evening during our two-week vacation and were warmly welcomed and served. We are already looking forward to the next time.Susanne and Klaus Krämer

This is such a hostile pub. They told us that unless everyone in our group was ordering a drink we had to leave. It made us feel really uncomfortable and the bar staff have the worst attitude.

During a short holiday in Deal, one evening I was walking the streets of Deal looking for a Pub to have a beer, I entered here! NO regrets! As a foreigner I was welcomed here like I came here every week! Talked to two lovely ladies behind the bar and some other guys sitting at the bar. Had a great time! First time I tried Guinness! They made me one with a little bit of a black syrup. I really loved it.If I get a chance visiting Deal again I surely will go here again!!

Brilliant old pub ! we always visit when in Deal. Amazing prices, lovely staff, great atmosphere and good music playing and we always have a good time talking to locals and visitors alike. Whenever we visit somewhere we always want to respect the locals, it's their turf so it is a pity when big groups of visitors take over and lose the plot a bit. Manners cost nothing. Be kind and everyone can enjoy this historic watering hole!

Proper old back street pub. Great atmosphere, excellent service and choice of ales. Such a nice change from the lager dominated generic pubs that dominate most areas. The Ship is an oasis in the sea of dross that is the majority of pubs today.
