I have eaten here around six times in the past few months and on each occasion the food has been excellent. They have a very reasonably priced set menu which varies on a weekly basis. You would struggle to find anywhere better to eat in the area.

While visiting a sibling for the weekend, four of us went to the Three Compasses Restaurant for dinner.. What we all experienced was great food and service, all sensibly priced, great portions and all the food arrived hot and on hot plates ! (virtually an unknown in many of the restaurants we have recently visited). Thank you, we have no hesitation in recommending you as a great restaurant and look forward to the next opportunity we have to visit and enjoy your great food, etc. again.

We come to Deal regularly for family holidays and gave this little gem a try for dinner for the 6 of us. The restaurant is very cosy and had a lovely atmosphere. We had a range of starters including oxtail and creamed leeks, goats cheese salad, camembert, smoked salmon, sardines and the pigeon breast- all delightful! For mains we had the calfs liver, mutton leg, bacon wrapped chicken breast, teriyaki steak, roasted parma ham cod and the fillet steak. Couldn’t fault these meals, the taste and quality was fantastic! Only down side was we were so full we didnt have room for puddings (all looked delicious) service was great and we will definitely come again. Highly recommend!

Our community garden volunteers enjoyed a lovely Christmas meal. A wide range of food was on the menu and the food was nicely cooked and presented. We had a lovely time and would like to thank the staff for making our evening an enjoyable one.

We came here for a pre-Christmas gathering with family. Warmly greeted on arrival and friendly service throughout the evening. I opted out of the starters as was advised that the mains were large but wish I'd had the scallops. They looked delish! My calves liver was really tasty and tender, I'm being picky but would have liked a nice jus. And although I was stuffed I made room for tarte tatin! It was huge but very light to eat. The Maitre 'D was superb and even though Negroni's weren't on the menu it wasn't a problem for him to make some up. We don't live in the area but would recommend a visit.
