A hidden gem.... dinner for7 today. choice not vast but for a pub the food was really good and excellent value. with friendly prompt service, reasonably priced drinks in an historic building, with log fire in the cosy recreation flagstoned room, bar, and eating room, loads of parking half mile off the sandwich bypass.

Stayed overnight in motorhome. Had meal in evening and it was certainly 5star well presented and tasted good. Staff were friendly altho a bit cold to sit outside in garden. Only approx 15mins to Dover ferry so a great stopover. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again.Parking: Private car park at side of pub

Came across the crown by chance. Good traditional pub with great food & service. Only there for an hour or two but looks like they have lots of live entertainment.

Awful food, the burgers were gross. Defrosted mushy cold bread, luke warm meat. No variation, totally bland and wilting lettuce
