Loved everything about this pub. High quality food, really fine choice of ingredients. We had a few lovely tapas to start with, then particularly appreciated the lamb, and the pork belly dish, surprisingly good for pub food (I'm a French man and I'm picky ?). The service was very good too, always with a smile and super reactive. The 2 large open fireplaces and cozy atmosphere have made it the perfect stop for a pint and a grub before heading back for a big walk in the green fields...read full review
My partner and I had a Sunday Roast yesterday with our one year old boy. I called around lunchtime to check if they were serving a roast dinner at around 5pm (many pubs in the area stop serving food by 3pm, so we were delighted that they were serving food still and had space for us. We arrived at around 4.30pm and had a drink in the garden which was lovely and peaceful. Shorty after, a friendly young waitress came out to ask if we were ready to order food. Chips were lovely and service was great but the only thing that was lacking a bit was the wait time. It was a great place and I definitely recommend for families but just a bit expensive great for a treat!
