We stayed here for second time already and the hotel is very nice, rooms are clean, it's right next to the beach, and their spa is great, we were lucky enough to have it for ourselves only. The only reason why I'm leaving 4 stars is because of the breakfast, it was not nice or tasty, but maybe next time we will try to order it instead of using the buffet. We also had to explain for 10 minutes to the staff that we paid for our breakfast on the day of check in, but they made us stand there awkwardly claiming we or not in the system. The overall experience was however pleasant, the atmosphere in the evening was nice just to grab a drink and watch the beach.

The spa was alright. It was a bit small, but did have all facilities running. I opted for a relaxing massage but I got more of a deeper massage which did leave me sore after but nonetheless it was OK. That’s probably what they felt was best for me. Moreover, I had a great chat with Tanya- she was funny, accommodating, we didn’t stop speaking throughout the treatment. However, my partner got his massage as it was his birthday- and wasn’t very pleased with his massage. He came out with an untouched neck which should have been part of the massage as it was for me. The pressure that was applied wasn’t the best either for him, he requested for more pressure but wasn’t satisfied. It was a shame as I did book this for his birthday, and it was his first experience so really wanted him to indulge. I can understand that not every masseuse is the same; but if you are unable to reach to clients expectations, then surely you can swap with someone else. You spend all this money, mainly for a treatment to not get much out of it. Overall, he is happy with the spa itself- the receptionist was really kind too.

Quite a good hotel in a lovely location. The staffs are quite friendly and breakfast was good. I only hope a bigger lift can be provided for guests use and the house keeping team be more staffed, cos it took a lot of chasing around to have my room cleaned at approx. 3.00pm.

It was, frankly, difficult to find fault with this hotel. I normally associate Best Western with high-end prices, but this was very reasonably priced and our stay was characterised by all the comforts you'd expect from luxury accommodation, including a splendid view of the sea-front out the window. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful at both ends of our visit.I have no negative comments at all.

Stayed here just overnight before the ferry to France, the hotel is a beautiful older building and is very well decorated and appointed. The booking in staff were amazing and everything went smoothly.Pros - Very close to the port only a 10 minutes drive. The rooms were spotless and huge, big bathroom and huge TV on the wall, it also had YouTube and apps so you could stream whatever took your fancy.Beds were big and comfortable and there was plenty of tea and coffee.Cons- Can't really think of any, a good stay all round.

We came today 7.4.22 to celebrate my partner's birthday. We had an amazing chilled out time. The young men in reception was really helpful and nice. We then had a coffee in Starbucks where we enjoyed nice view. After that we went to have our spa treatment- lady in reception reall nice and showed us around. Lady called Don ( sorry if I got it wrong) gave me deep back massage which was really good!!!! We enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna and steam room. After that really nice lunch in Marco Pierre restaurant-lovely service!!!! Thank you we will be back!!!

A well positioned hotel with a reasonable restaurant.Staff is friendly and polite. If you stay at the hotel you can use the spa free of charge ( excluding the massage) which is a bonus, however the rooms are small, even those refurbished, small bath with a a very small shower.Rooms are equipped with a flat screen TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, unfortunately no fridge. If you are a light sleeper you might be disappointed as the walls are really thin and you can hear your neighbours having a chat or watching TV.A very good selection for breakfast regardless if you are a vegan or not.

I stayed in room 204.The good: The view was beautiful as promised. The on-site restaurant was accommodating and high-quality, albeit predictably expensive. The bad: The window in the room was old and leaky. This wouldn't be a big problem, however the thermostat in the room was on a timer so you can choose your temperature but it will only stay on for a few hours. So each morning I awoke to an extremely cold room. Not pleasant. Also, the bed was super-firm. This might be to the taste of some travelers, but not me. When I first checked in on Sunday the toilet ran continuously after I flushed it. I reported this to the front desk and it was fixed after several hours. This happened again on Tuesday first thing, and wasn't fixed by mid-afternoon. I wasn't comfortable using a bathroom I couldn't flush. I checked out of the hotel even though I had paid to stay Tuesday night.

Lovely hotel which is located close to the terminal. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. We had drinks/meal in the bar, all good. Breakfast the following day was great. Megan on reception desk was absolutely amazing and so helpful. Highly recommended hotel.

I’m loving this hotel, it’s so nice and right by the water. The rooms are great, bathrooms are modern. Breakfast is good. Perfect for the ferry to France, which you can see from the window and could even walk there in 15 minutes. If you’re in your car you can park right outside the front all night for £7, or you can park for free in a car park round the corner with a permit from reception.

I took the ferry across the channel and decided to stay here for a day to explore the area. This hotel is fabulous. They have gone out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. I arrived two hours early but they still let me check in. The bar was wonderful and the room service was incredible. It was only a three minute drive from the ferry port. It is easy to park in front of the hotel to take your luggage out and check in, and even easier to park in the secured area behind the hotel. It is also within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. I will always stay here when I come back to Kent. No need to try another hotel at this point. Cheers.

We booked a room with a balcony and a beach view which was great. The room provided had an updated bathroom which was appreciated, but the layout was peculiar. The foot of the bed had a small clearance to a desk, which included a fridge. However, the foot of the bed was so close, the desk door didn't open fully and you had to squeeze the fridge door open. The hotel was within walking distance of an M&S Foodhall and you can walk to the Cliffs in about 30-45 minutes, dependent on pace.

We actually went to The Wheeler. The fish and chip shop with Costa coffee. Well, I have to say it is spotless. The food was hot and delicious. The young staff working in there on Friday just gone couldn't help us enough. They were lovely. We sat outside in the sunshine and ate fish goujons with chips, bread and butter. And had the biggest coffee. Wonderful.

If you solo traveller doesn’t expect to have security and privacy!I had a room on the second floor. And from 7:40 ? staff member starts to do very important LAUNDRY! And the washing machine shakes my bad all the way long. At 9:20 they did another round I assume to make sure that I have “full” experience! At 9:40 a staff member tried to come in but the door was locked and she is insistently knocked into the door. After a couple of minutes, I opened the door and? And the lady said sorry and walked away! Why ?!At 10:30 when I was in the bathroom, someone just walked into the room even noticing a running water from the toilet !!!I want just to ask one question!Did you try to check if I’m still alive being alone on St.Valentine’s day ?!Or do you have another reason to ruin all my morning?!P.S check out from the Hotel at 11:00!!!Very disappointed!

Great room with lovely view. Good SPA centre, Jacuzzi not working. Small changing rooms. Room Bathroom had no bath and the water pressure was weak. Taps on sink took about 3 minutes to turn to hot. Our room cards stopped working half way through so we were locked out of our rooms and had to get them reconfigured. Poor quality dressing gown from the SPA with rough on the skin and broken cord holders. £5 charge for room service everytime you order. Generally an ok hotel that is far too pricy for what it offers and has marketed their way to squeezing every penny out of customers while offering the least possible.
