Decent food, but the bread used in burgers are extremely hard to chew, do recommend the chef to heat it with butter to smooth the bread

Been at waterfront bar few times and I would say them cocktails and the service in a town like Dover, magical. Cha rehab Krishna them boys are starts pumping money to the business like it’s they own business! Good luck boys and highly recommend!!

My friend and I popped for a bite to eat and a few drinks. The drinks were prompt but were told that the sharing platter we wanted didn’t have the items we required. We decided to order chicken wings chips and onion rings instead. The food arrived and was very creasy underwhelming and not enough to share. Then about 10 mins later these two attractive women came and ordered the sharing platter we wanted and received the lot? They had mini burgers, coleslaw, ribs, chicken wings, chips onion rings. Am I missing something here or is this establishment Sexist?!!!

Called in for a light lunch at this well located Dover Hotel. It was busy and we were able to sit at the bar. We ordered a club sandwich and mozzarella fries which arrived quickly and were well presented and delicious. Really good quality food, cooked perfectly and very tasty. Charming, attentive service. Can recommend!

Once again I visited the Dover Marine Hotel for coffee and lunch. It's always such a pleasurable experience. The staff are extremely friendly and highly efficient. Today Max Lyster made my morning with his friendly and attentive service. I always look forward to seeing him as he is one of my favourite staff members and I know I will be well looked after. I highly recommend you give this hotel a visit.

Some friends and I visited for our annual Christmas lunch out - the food was beautiful,the organisation was spot on, everything was great. All the staff were lovely but Sian stood out in particular, she is an asset to your hotel, we cannot wait to visit again next year. Merry Christmas

Got into the Hotel Late and ended up eating a bacon cheeseburger and chips at a nice table overlooking Dover Beach. Food was good beer was cold and the service was fine

Pleasant staff. House white wine very cheap poor quality. A Greek salad..any self respecting Greek would have laughed at the chefs attempt
My burger and chips was very tasty. However, my husband's teriyaki dish wasn't as tasty and was a bit watery. The staff were very attentive, friendly and accomodating.

I had been here a few times the cream tea and afternoon tea was lovely with unlimited tea or coffee of your choice which I Usually had in the bar area but ! The last visit I was told I could only have cream tea or afternoon tea in the restaurant area ! Could not have the 30% off and the latte would have to be paid for as extra ! So decided to pay for the coffee, not have cream tea or afternoon tea but have what was on the menu in the bar, seemed like there was new staff and they wasn’t sure about anything as one said one thing and the other said something else ! Anyway decided on the curry with rice and naan, waited a long time, but in this time there was a Tesco delivery !! I’m 99% sure the curry that was served up was a Tesco ready meal !! Very disappointed and will not be returning.
