Lovely flavour, well prepared, nice and hot (temperature). Rice portion could be slightly. Bigger! Excellent veg curry with very tasty kulcha Nan.Vegetarian options: Adequate selectionKid-friendliness: Friendly waiters

Buffet Thursday a must. Bargain prices. Beautiful food and beverages and excellent service. Highly recommend. In the historic town of Faversham, West Street.

First time with a take away from this place. Service was polite and prompt but flavours were a little flat, not the usual combination of garlic, ginger and cumin from a tandoori specialist. Garlic Naan was lacking in garlic. Worth a try though.

Excellent service, fantastic food. I had the Raj special with limes, not sure what it was called and can’t seem to get the menu online , it was as good as a curry gets.

Me and my boyfriend visited the raj for the first time tonight - as we have recently moved around the corner we thought we’d give it a try! It is a brilliant curry house with great customer service. It may be an unpopular opinion but i really liked how they didn’t have a huge menu that was hard to read. Smaller menu usually means fresher! Service was brilliant and we didn’t wait long for our food. My only small improvement to this place would be dimmer lights. I just felt as though we were in an office with the bright white spotlights. Maybe something abit more cosy would be better. But nonetheless I wouldn’t like to give a 4* based on that! So 5* all the way for me based on food and service!

Excellent value on the 'banquet' nights which offer a fixed price for courses from across the whole menu. We also enjoyed a surprisingly nice bottle of merlot for less than £20

I want to to write something good about this place but I'm struggling, The location is lovely, but for large tables there was 10 of us it was cramped. Service was awful we ordered wine and three times they brought the wrong bottles to both parts of the party they were fast with the beer though! The food order took ages but the poppadom were delivered quickly with a nice selection of the usual sauces. Food wise it was awful my tikka Balti was swimming in oil and it was bland. The Chicken pakora was claggy and sadly it was one of the worst meals I've ever eaten and it was not cheap.

Felt very looked after here, I have children from toddler to teenage and all needs were met. Very welcoming. Had a really authentic feel to the restaurant and the food was amazing.

Myself and 10 friends visited last Friday 2nd and the food was great, but they have stopped using hotplates in the middle of the table, this is a very big mistake, the food cooled far to quickly and took the edge of what was otherwise a very nice dinner!

Please be aware that when ordering poppadoms, listed on the menu at 90P each + 85P for the dips, that you will get a further charge of £1 per person for a 'plate' (5 x £1) that is not shown anywhere on the menu, meaning that five of us were charged £9.95 for four poppadoms, disgusting! Although there is a card machine, this restaurant wanted cash.
