Best Asian food i have ever tasted.Great advice on dishes you’ve not tried before.This place was a real find.Food quality was excellent.Piping hot and great quality ingredients.Service exceptional.Staff always happy to advise if you want to try something different.I highly recommend this place. Jaslicking Seafood Boil, Kent

The two ladies running this restaurant are absolutely lovely, they make clean, delicious seafood boils and are incredibly accommodating!
I have been to many other seafood boils such as crack shack, hot n juicy etc and this is by far my favourite!

We ordered : The queen boil x2 boiled eggs, plantain, garlic butter sauce, hot sauce 10/10!

Will definitely be back again! Thank you❤️

Ask Italian

Had a lovely lunch here this week. Kirsty was excellent and made our visit really enjoyable. All the food we had was cooked and presented to a high standard. Thank you.

The Refinery

We booked The Refinery for a special birthday on a Saturday evening. Jordan & Amy couldn’t have been more accommodating, they went above and beyond to make it special and nothing was too much trouble. The space was perfect for an intimate celebration, the drinks offering was so good! Thank you guys, we will be back!

Swan Cafe & Restaurant

I’ve been coming here for years , nice no nonsense cafe, the kids absolutely love it there, the chicken kebab with chips and salad is absolutely delicious. It makes it feel like you’re in holiday!

Gunpowder Mill

Great Sunday dining.
Hot plates, fresh and well cooked food, efficient service and relaxed atmosphere.
I had the hunters chicken + sides and everyone else had a roast, all highly satisfied. Definitely recommend!

Papà Bianco

Emily was brilliant at helping organise. We used the great space upstairs for a baby shower. Food was fab, plenty of space for everyone and easy to organise. Thank you so much!

Posillipo - Faversham

A hidden Italian gem worth every bite

It was just another ordinary Tuesday. After a long, hectic day at work, I suddenly remembered a friend recommending a highly recommond Italian restaurant, so I decided to give it a go — and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be!

I arrived at around 8pm, which I now believe is the perfect time to visit. The roads were clear and I easily found a parking spot right outside the restaurant — already a good start.

Despite being the last table seated, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. There was not a hint of impatience, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unrushed.

For starters, we had a glass of their house white and a portion of Calamari Fritti. The deep-fried squid was outstanding — light, crisp, and not greasy at all. Easily one of the best I’ve had in the UK.

Then came the mains. The Marinara pizza, and let me just say — the simpler the dish, the harder it is to perfect. But this pizza? Hands down the best I’ve had anywhere in the UK, and yes, even better than many I tried during my trip to Italy!

The other main — thanks to my friend’s strong recommendation — was the Risotto Alla Pescatora. Honestly, it's the best risotto I’ve ever had. The flavour was rich, the texture beautifully balanced, and it’s now officially my must-order dish every time I come. It alone is enough reason for a return visit.

Portions were generous and everything was so delicious that, regretfully, we couldn’t finish the Marinara — ended up taking half of it home. That meant we had to save the Linguine Posillipo for next time... but to be honest, it only gives me more reason to come back this October.

Next round: I’ll definitely be reordering the Risotto Alla Pescatora, finally trying the Linguine Posillipo, and taking away a Marinara or a Margherita. Trust me — when you reheat their pizza in your own kitchen, the aroma is honestly more intoxicating than Chanel No.5.

Although we couldn’t manage any dry pasta last night, we still ordered a slice of their Pistachio Cheesecake to take away. I had it as today’s tea break, and it felt more like a proper high tea than just an average afternoon snack — pure indulgence.

It’s hard to fully describe the experience in words — it’s something you truly have to experience yourself. A dining journey that satisfies not just your stomach, but also your soul.

PS: My only tip — avoid peak hours if possible, and don’t test the chef’s limits. They deserve time and space to create magic.

The Cow Shed at The Ship Inn

Really enjoyed visiting The Cow Shed. My review is based on sitting outside having a few pints through the day. The staff were lovely and great with my dog. They had treats for the dog at the bar on sale. The food coming out the kitchen smelt lovely and I'm planning a trip back soon for lunch.

Shanghai

Had a takeaway from here this evening as our usual restaurant in Whitstable was closed. Very impressed, lovely food, generous portions. Great service. Will definitely go back.

Three Mariners

Stopped there after walking around the bird reserve. Super pub with lovely garden. We only had a starter each, all of which sounded really nice, plus fries but both were exceptionally nice, pate for me and scallops for my wife both beautifully presented. So a return visit is a definite. Such a pleasant change from so many other pubs who frankly have exactly the same boring menu.

The Pizza King

I love this place, we order their pizza a lot and it’s definitely the best stuffed crust I’ve had, delivery is fast and they’re one of the only places that actually deliver to us which is great! My one complaint would be the styrofoam boxes for the sides as there have been a few times where the hot oil from the freshly fried sides actually melted the box and burned through to the next one, which made the food inedible. If they sorted this issue out it would be 5 stars!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options so there’s always plenty to eat! Vegan options not so much, but there are lots of vegetarian choices

The Phoenix Tavern

Our 4th visit to The Phoenix Tavern. As usual the ambience was peaceful with a warmth making you feel comfortable. Kim and her staff were very friendly and promptly attentive. We skipped a starter and ordered the chicken supreme and the fillet of cod as our mains. Well, what can I say, the chefs clearly take pride in presentation of the dishes and served excellent and hot food which was tasty and very well cooked. For desert we had the sticky toffee pudding and raspberry and coconut steamed sponge pudding which were excellent. This is a place we would return to time and time again and look forward to spending time here in the summer. Well done to the whole team and thank you.

The Korean Cowgirl at Cave Hotel

We ate here to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday, the staff were attentive, polite and service was incredible, the food to top it off was some of the best food I have had attention to detail in presentation was beautiful, reasonably priced will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu

Diana's Tea Room

Went in today, Saturday, for a cup of tea and a cappuccino. Two lovely ladies greeted us and were quite happy to chat.
Great to see the cakes were made on the premises.
I hope they will have a good Sunday lunch when they visit the Whitstable area.

The Shipwright's Arms

The scotch eggs that are occasionally on the menu here are the best i’ve ever had. Both the herb, and the spicy variety are outstanding (spicy is my favourite) They’re a meal in themselves!
The Shipwrights is unique, and has always been a very special place to me. I learnt to walk there, learnt to drink there, and now enjoy the fact that they are the sort of pub to have sofas and armchairs in which to sit and drink their great beer ??

Furlongs Ale House

Probably the best ale House in East Kent. It's hilarious that many of the brewers from Shepherd Neame come here to drink decent beer.

Avoid the chilli peanuts, you might think you are ready for them, but I promise you you are not ?

Gaslight Fish Bar

It's a takeaway so little atmosphere but you're always greeted in a friendly and welcoming way. Food is good portions are large and reasonably priced. Probably could do with getting rid of the fishtank

Ossies

Just popped in for a bit of lunch. Service from the staff is absolutely top class and the food is amazing! Sat in the car enjoying our Fish n' Chips on a rainy day.

Cosgroves

Excellent menu catering for all taste, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. I had a vegan sausage sandwich which came with some crisps and a small salad. Very tasty, and will definitely return.

Faversham Kebab House

Booked a table for a Friday evening, welcoming on arrival. Small restaurant directly nextdoor to the takeaway service. We all had the set menu 'special' which included a cold starter, hot starter, main meal and pudding for £28 odd.
Excellent service throughout the evening. Knowledgeable staff about all food placed on the table with personal recommendations. Very polite staff. Didn't feel rushed to leave. Overall an excellent experience and would recommend.

The Castle Inn

Popped in after a walk along the river and Oare marshes.
Seemed like a nice place, nicely decorated on the outside, which made it an easy choice to call in. Had a quick drink and made use of the outside space in the sunshine. Not to busy.

The Alma

Had a drink in this nice pub, lovely old building, staff friendly and welcoming.
Shepard neame beers and a good variety of bottled ones, we will go back to try the food, definitely worth a visit.

The Dove

Really enjoyed visiting the Dove. It's more of a restaurant than a pub. Good quality food and well presented. We all left clean plates at the end which is a good sign.
Service was attentive.
Atmosphere allowed for easy table conversation.
Prices are on the tad high side and for that you are expecting good food which is what we got. If I have to be picky then the paper napkins could have been slightly upgraded as felt cheap and didn't conform to the rest of the experience.

The Dairy Restaurant & Bar

This restaurant is amazing! The food was all delicious. We had the sea bass and the crispy pork belly. Both were sublime. Then we had the steamed apple golden syrup pudding - so yum! The service was great and the background music was perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough. A+++++++

The Elephant pub, Faversham

A proper pub. No TV's just people standing or sitting and having conversations. A good range of beers that change frequently, it's almost like going back in time when a pub was a pub. A nice little garden and lovely local people. No food just a bag or crisps.

Bear Inn

The Bear Inn Faversham is a charming time capsule of a superbly preserved period ale house with a historic heritage interior. If the country descended to having only 20 pubs left, this one should be one of them. Welcoming cheerful staff and a good pint of Master Brew.

Moonlight Cafe Breakfast Restaurant

Great stop for breakfast. Service can sometimes be a bit hectic, when we sat down the waitress was straight over to take our order before the menu was even down followed by the remainder of our visit listening to them chatting away. Cannot fault the food

HatHats Coffee Faversham

Always nice friendly staff and a noce place to have a drink or snack while out for a dog walk

Good range of hot or cold drinks and ice creams.

Oceanic Fishbar

Really nice chips everyone who had some said that they were really nice (crispy outside and fluffy inside) the lasagne wasn't very nice apparently so I would avoid that if you can.

White Lion

We popped in on the spur of the moment a week or so ago - £15 per person for a fabulous steak pie including a drink. Service faultless, food fabulous, and it’s a lovely Kentish pub. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Market Inn

This summer, I've walked the Kent and East Sussex coast so have been to a fair number of boozers. Hands down, one of the best pints I found in Kent. As a northerner, I'm really fussy about my beer but this place was great! Awesome prices too and lovely friendly barmaid who's worked there 14 years (says a lot about a place) ! Met some very friendly locals in here too. Loved this pub, it's brilliant and would love to return for one of the business music nights.

Tides cafe

Really nice people here who let me leave my pram during a swim lesson and then afterwards helped carry my order to my table as my hands were full. Cake was excellent and they have really nice chai lattes.

Three Tuns

Genuine unspoilt historic pub. Visited during hop festival and it was in oasis of peace. The pub has probably seen better days but unlike many historic pubs it has kept it's traditional feel. Only one ale is available, Shepherd Neame Master Brew, but it has always been in good condition when I have been there. The garden feels a bit neglected but it is large and fairly pleasant with some seating and tables.

Park Fish Bar

The best chips! Staff are friendly, prices are fair. Highly recommend supporting this local family business. The food is cooked fresh. Phone up and order for collection or walk in. Cash only.

Starbucks

Love stopping here in the way to mums. Your blonde staff member, she deserves a pay rise! She is very kind, patient and excellent customer service skills. Very Deaf aware. Thank you so much! So sorry I forgot your name, will look at badge next time.

Costa Coffee

The young lady, whose name is megan worked her socks off on saturday morning,as she was on her own from opening ,which i believe 07.30 until just about 10.00, the till and costa card machine were not working so it was cash only,and she is back on this morning (with help today) but also they have no oven on top of the till not taking cards still, i just think she deserves a pat on the back(at least) for the way she coped yesterday and still came back in this morning, which a lot of people would have gone sick!!!! She is a credit to your company.

The Leading Light - JD Wetherspoon

One of the nicest Weather Spoons I have been to. Really clean and tasteful interior and a pretty beer garden. The staff here and friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. First class service.
