My cousin told me how today on Halloween day, she was treated horribly. She went with her friend to buy makeup and Halloween mask. She touched one makeup and looked around to see where the testing is for that product but couldn’t find it at all. So she opened it as it had no seal and someone must of opened it before she opened it so she tried it on a little to see if it’s good but it was bad so she put it back . Few mins later she was told to pay for the product that was already open as it had no plastics seal around it as it usually would or placed in the correct makeup area (the makeup area is big mess with makeup in wrong areas) for her to use the product’s makeup testing . As she only wanted to see how dose it look like and how it’s applied on to her face. She in fact open it which she has no problem with paying the item as the Asda staff lady told her rudely to pay for the item because she opened it. As she was going to pay for the product. She was followed by a creep security man (staff lady told him to follow on her headphone as she had busy stuff to do then to follow my cousin) who acted like he wasn’t following her by hiding away (acting like he’s going to other side) when my cousin looked behind. This is clearing way too much for a kid who did nothing but open one makeup product (it’s a small eyebrow mascara) and she didn’t even refuse to pay it as she knew it was her fault for opening it which was already open FYI .And when her friend was paying her stuff the security man looked at her without dropping eye contact or looking away or trying to act like he wasn’t trying to follow her like a creep. My cousin felt so much angry because she was being treated like a thief who stole something when clearly she agreed to pay it . Be grateful the fact that she payed for it no need for matter of making a security man to follow her for such small issues. They treated her as if she couldn’t afford to pay it. If I had the choice to give 0 reviews then I would of done it with others to help me give 0 reviews on this ASDA review site for the experience my cousin had gone through. BE WARNED! At Asda, there is no such thing as *testing* or even to see if the makeup is good in ASDA because they will make you pay that too because you “opened” it . It’s so ridiculous, unbelievable. My cousin said she’ll pay for it and your rude staff lady & security man treated her like a thief who stole something.

Shout out to the security gentleman who brought my trolley out to me whilst I was loading my twins and pram into the car yesterday! He also unpacked my shopping and offered to help with the pram.As a stressed out twin mum navigating a pram and a trolley alone, I was super grateful this act of kindness ?

Please don't moan about ASDA toilets. The council keeps its own toilets CLOSED due the cost of VANDALISM. So ASDA tries to provide toilets not only for its own CUSTOMERS but everyone in the Town Centre of Folkestone. Under trying circumstances the ASDA team does a brilliant job and are taken for granted far to often.

Not usually one to stray from Aldi. Price wise the main reason but have started using Asda more frequently as their fresh fruit n veg is excellent and reasonably priced. Todays excursion was to buy for a special meal for a birthday dinner. The steak deal was a good one.

This store is a nightmare for food to go why put it right at the front of the store near the the self-tills should be in the actual store itself on one of the side aisles if could give it 0 for confusion I would
The cafe is a great little place if you have small kids, you can get them food for £1, which in this financial climate has to be a help. The lady who works there is lovely. I like that it’s hidden away and less expensive than the other chain cafes.
