Marleys
Creative Quarter, 26-30 The Old High St, FolkestoneThe marleys What a lovely surprise! They accommodated us on a lovely table outside and we found everything lovely. Each member of staff was beyond adorable and kind. Service was quick and everything was delicious. We stopped for a glass of wine and some nibbles before dinner and didn’t left disappointed! Fried calamari were so soft and buttery, very well fried (so good we got two portions) Little potato cubes were lovely and nicely seasoned. Hallumi fries were lovely too. Once back in Folkestone we will definitely pay another visit to this lovely place, on their new location just down the road. 100% recommended and great value for money. space bar & kitchen
7 The Old High St, FolkestoneMy son turned 10 and The Space Bar pizzas are his absolute favs!We were able to book out the whole bar for 30 of us including 13 of my sons friends! To have an hour & half of fun games & delish pizzas! The manager & barmaid were delightful, helping at every opportunity they could! They played a playlist suited to the party & put their disco lights with disco ball on for the whole time too! They made a personalised menu board for the kids & made them feel like grown ups allowing them to order their own pizzas and drinks! They added ice-cream as a desert too. 41 Cheriton High St, Cheriton, FolkestoneWhat a lovely surprise. Stopped over in Cheriton, as many do, on the way to France and wondered into town to find something to eat with the family to find this gem. Took me straight back to Kathmandu, Pokra and also the delicious fresh Thalis in India. My favourite was the Thukpa (noodle soup) which had the most incredible flavour, but all the food was incredible.

The New Delhi - Indian Food Takeaway
135a Sandgate Rd, FolkestoneI have to say I have just had one of the best if not the best Dhansak dishes I’ve ever had. Quite often the lentil side of this dish is not always appreciated when care not taken. This dish was amazing, lentils cooked to perfection, the sauce was thick and rich as a result of the chefs skill. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the combination of spice, heat, care made this exceptional. This will be very hard to beat. Great work. ?

Lighthouse Champagne Bar
Folkestone Harbour Arm, Harbour Approach Rd, FolkestoneDid not realise this place was tucked away at the end of the harbour in Folkestone.Had booked the tasting rooms but first stumbled upon the lighthouse bar which was the cutest smallest little bar that we will definitely go back to.Tasting rooms were brimming with people and live music.. not what we were expecting at all! But we stayed and I’m glad we did.. it was actually a great atmosphere, and the taster plates of prawns, Champaign mushrooms, pate with rustic bread, and the Malbec wine were absolutely lovely. Our waitress was very smiley and lovely- made us feel very welcome. Will definitely go back, and when the live music is playing too. Get us, living it up!Thanks for lovely food, service, music and atmosphere.

Central Fish Bar
98 Cheriton Rd, FolkestoneWe all had the fish and chips and they were very good indeed. The chips were a cut above most that I have had before. Done partly skin on which was very tasty. Lemon Leaf Restaurant & Bar
99-101, Cheriton High St, Cheriton, FolkestoneAfter calling menu places on a Saturday night we found space at this restaurant. Very dated in terms of furniture and decor and we had to ask for the music to be put on as there was absolutely no atmosphere with only about three tables of diners.Customer service was good. Our order was taken promptly and drinks brought out quickly. Though they did forget the tap water which we had to ask for again. The food was really good. We got a selection of starters, mains and naans and everything came out hot and fresh. The food was nice and spicy with a fair few dishes having chopped chillis that you could see and remove or like me eat as a salad - they were very hot! The flavours in the curries and the chilli paneer were complex and pleasant. Only thing we found an issue with was that the noodles were a little too al dente. All in all a pleasant meal and absolutely amazing value for money. If in Folkestone again then I would definitely go there again. It says free parking at rear on the window but we could not find this. We just parked in the side street.

Got a bit noisy and lively on the night but it was a Saturday and people were having a good time. Good food, and decent prices and very good sized portions. My wife had the burger, it was huge and tasted amazing. I went for the hunters chicken, 2 decent sized chicken portions with bacon and cheese. Thick cut chips and a bowl of pea's. ?

Lots of lovely drink options available such as beetroot latte, blueberry iced tea, delicious chai latte. Coast Restaurant
Princes Parade, HytheThe staff were lovely and looked very smart. The reason I only have 4 stars is because the waiter got my order wrong, I ordered Chicken Risotto and received Butternut Squash Risotto. I was offered something else but my husband would have had to eat on his own. They brought me a side of spicy chicken which was lovely and offered me a complimentary dessert. I chose the rhubarb cheesecake which was deconstructed and very disappointing. In saying all that I would still recommend the restaurant and the hotel as our room was lovely with a sea view.

McDonald's
South Retail Park, West Park Farm, Park Farm Rd, Park Farm Industrial Estate, FolkestoneWent at around 10pm on a Fri Eve. Floor staff were very friendly and chatty but not invasively. Was a few late teens who clearly just joined the gym over the road loudly talking about macros and personal bests like they invented bodybuilding made me chuckle if they're so informed why are they eating maccers post workout? Nothing wrong with big M food it's just talking about nutrition whilst eating it is like glueing yourself to the road because you're fighting air pollution!

10-12 Langhorne Gardens, FolkestoneWe stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting family in the area, it was a great find. The hosts Mark and Leigh were very welcoming and helpful, we were offered a welcome glass of wine and beer as we had booked direct. Our room was spacious, comfy and well equipped with a separate seating area. The breakfast was all freshly cooked to order with plenty of choice on the menu. If we are in the area again would definitely book here, highly recommend.
