We didn't try their ice cream (which looked good), but we had a toasted cheese sandwich, which was fairly nice but very slow arriving. Unfortunately, they had forgotten us, and we had to prompt their brains about the sandwich. Coffee was fair.We sat outside, nice position in the sun watching the world go by. As they serve food in paper (cups, bags, etc), it would be nice to have a bin to place used items in.

rather than use the ice cream van just off this road we chose here and glad we did ... Nice and clean with attentive staff and a large variety to choose from ... very reasonably priced as well

I literally come here every visit to see my mum, the rum and raisin ice cream is incredible! Whilst yes you probably do pay a little more it is so worth it! ❤️

We saw all these good reviews and thought we had to try an ice cream from this shop before we left Folkestone. If I could give this shop and the ladies a 10 star review I would. We went at 10am and they were closed, however the lady was still willing to serve us, we decided to go back when they were fully open at 12pm so we could have a good look at all the flavours. Even in the pouring rain these ladies were lovely to us and offered us tasters of their ice cream. I would 10/10 recommend coffee lovers to try the 'Gypsy Tart' one if they have it, it was rich and creamy and although on the expensive side I would definitely go back here if I visit Folkestone again.

One of my favourite places. Right in Folkestone harbour. Lovely ice-cream. Nice coffee and tasty vegetarian toasties, which I don't usually have, but were very nice.

after an afternoon of drinking for my birthday, we were on our way to the Harbour Arms where we stumbled across Herberts. My step sister came the week prior and raved about the Gypsy Tart ice cream, and my god was she right!!! The best ice cream I have ever tasted, so yummy we bought a box of it! We still talk about it now, whenever we are in the area we pop over for more - beautiful lovely staff and gorgeous food will forever be a fan favourite x

Best Ice Cream around good location on the Old Fish Market and sit outside over looking the Harbour. Hope you win the fight against the proposed loading bay outside , Cannot believe that they want to put it right outside you.

Gypsy Tart, Ice cream, possibly the best Ice-cream, ever!! Says on the box tastes like brown sugar and cream, but in reality this is very creamy, sweet and figgy flavour explosion.All the ice- cream flavours are really good.Came at half term and my kids just love it, not cheap and worth making the pilgrimage for.Please keep making unique flavours, just love them.
