“Best curries we've ever had. Everything was fantastic. The Kathmandu curry was out of this world, and the lamb in it was succulent. The mango chicken was out of this qorld. 100/10”

“Review: Lemon Leaf Gurkha Restaurant – Folkestone, Kent
Visited Lemon Leaf Gurkha tonight and was warmly looked after by a lovely young lady named Nuna. Service was friendly and attentive throughout.
I started with two crisp poppadoms and a well-balanced chutney tray — a great opener. As there wasn’t a perfect vegetarian option on the menu for me, the staff happily accommodated my request: a custom dish of paneer and spinach in a madras-style sauce, paired with pillow rice. Honestly, it was absolutely delicious — rich, warming, and full of flavour.
The restaurant itself has real potential. While the food and service are spot on, the ambience could use a little uplift to match. I’d suggest they take a look at Masala Magic in Bromsgrove — a great example of how combining a vibrant bar and restaurant atmosphere can really elevate the dining experience.”

“Best Indian in Folkestone. My favourite part of an Indian is the sides, their naan is exceptional and really tastes home made. The poppadum is thick and tasty. The main courses were good too, the korma is better than other competition in the area”

“We have just moved to Sandgate, went out for an evening walk and stopped here for a bite to eat. Food was wonderful and a cut above many curries we have had in the last couple of years. Will definitely be back and will become a regular”
