The place is charming and we usually go in late spring and summer. The servers were professional, friendly and knew their stuff. The food was excellent and the same with service which was spot on, lovely attentive friendly ladies. We had garlic butter scallops to start with fish batter scraps which were different and very tasty, perfectly cooked. Then we shared a bowl of hot shells with a bisque sauce and sourdough bread, also absolutely perfect. I don't usually have a pudding but the mango cheesecake looked fab and was served with mouth watering mango sorbet. I mentioned It was my birthday and I received a plate with "Happy Birthday" in chocolate signage which another type of sorbet which was scrummy (hub had most of that one). Overall, it was perfect. Suggest you book, there were 70mph winds and it only had a few tables free. It is an insult to Little Rock to call it the "little sister of Rock Salt".

At the present this place looks like an ordinary shipping container but on Friday, Saturday and Sunday it magically turns into the super little sister of the big Rocksalt on the harbour side. Booking required as it is very popular. Lovely staff, beautifully decorated and a great place to eat. Well protected patio area to use when it is a little warmer

Absolutely stunning location, beautiful inside & out side dining, amazing to see a great sunset while having a lovely dinner. The service was excellent as is the menu, especially for seafood & fish lovers . The staff are so helpful and nothing is too much for them to make the experience enjoyable. We can't rate it high enough & will definitely be going back again to try the other dishes.... A real gem of a "find" . Thank you Little Rock ?

A very relaxed afternoon lunch on a warm September afternoon. Sitting outside on the sun deck with a large umbrella looking at the pebbly beach and sea was a treat. A slightly bohemian feel and delicious local fish made it feel like we were on holiday somewhere rather than just venturing out for a bite to eat. The cod cheeks, crab and beetroot and fennel salad were enjoyed immensely and the wander back through the old harbour arm ended things nicely.

Had a great lunch here. I think this is a sister restaurant to the nearby Rock Salt and it shows. Excellent food and good service.

Very friendly and helpful staff - were happy to make a Mocktail even though it was not on the menu. Food was exceptional - I had thought that the starters were pricey but when they arrived I understood why.. larger than average portions, with amazing presentation and flavours. Lovely views with that holiday vibe.

Location is one of the most important factors for the property. For a seafood restaurant as well, a lot of additional flavour. Sea view, fresh seafood, attentive staff. Storm outside, cozy atmosphere inside. Fabulous contrast, plus friendly staff and good food. Place to visit.

We were a family group of three adults, one elderly. We shared a starter of Folkestone crab. Beautiful smooth crab meat with apple, a very generous portion served with sourdough toast. I could have had that for my lunch on its own. We then had the dish of the day - a fish pie which I understand was delicious packed with fish; the cod cheeks and the chilli prawns. The staff were relaxed yet polite and very informative. My only criticism is about the background music. As an older group, 66,75,95 we found it difficult to hold a conversation. If the music was a tad quieter it would have been a 5/5 score.

Exceptional food and service. Wonderful fresh-caught Dover Sole, superb cod cheeks and the best knicker-Bocker glory EVER. So exemplary was the service they even brought our dog some dog beer! You should be very proud of your staff - a real asset to the business. Can't wait to return

On a sunny day, the lunch here transports you to the beaches of California! The food is impeccable, of the new wave of modern British cuisine where local and fresh ingredients are masterfully made. The catch of the day are cooked to perfection. Good sauces and fresh sides. The mackerel is impressive. On starters, the crab is a little bland and there could be a local ale on the menu too (not just Camden from London).
