Lovely Christmas eve meal at Little Rock. The welcome is really friendly and it was super warm inside out of high winds. Bright airy but cosy. The scallops and dressed crab were really delicious. Then cod cheeks in a super light batter with crisp chips. The plaice with different sauces was a catch of the day. Tasty brocolli side. The house champagne was really good. Then the house Rose too, would recommend. Scrumptious crumble with custard AND ice cream. Hot tea. Every detail is right. They looked after us and service was above and beyond. Five stars *****

What a fabulous experience. The young waitress, who’d previously worked at the sister restaurant Rock Salt, was delightful. She offered us a taste of our proposed wine choice which resulted in us enjoying 3 different bottles of wine. We had Mussels, Scallops and our friends had crab salad, which were absolutely delicious. Our main courses comprised of skate, Bream and plaice which were cooked to perfection. We finished off with an excellent Expresso Martini to round off a super day. Keep up the good work and we’ll look forward to seeing you soon.

We have been here several times, in a shipping container, with wide Windows and lovely sea views,it's well worth a visit. Pleasantly warm on a cold day, the menu includes ,catch of the day ,it included mackerel, plaice, and sea bream, I opted for mussels ,with sour dough bread,a side of fries,my wife the whole mackerel..Both delicious, followed by Eton mess. Friendly staff in a setting of the old Folkestone Harbour station ,well worth a visit

Visited this Restaraunt today and it was amazing!! We had the scallops and the sole (fresh catch of the day!) and they both were great! The staff was so friendly, big shout out to Kesha & Ellie who were so so lovely & gave us tips and recommendations on what to do in Folkestone. The vibe and views are also so nice specially on a nice sunny day, would def recommend!

An absolutely brilliant brunch , the food was excellent quality and plenty of it . The staff were very attentive topping up our drinks throughout. It is good value and something just a little bit special.

Absolutely fantastic food, they even pointed out at the time that children eat free (There was an offer so watch out for next one's) we all tried new things and it was the best mussels I've had in years. Attentive staff, if they hadn't had the free child offer I'd say it was tiny bit expensive but you get what you pay for. I bet the views are wonderful along there at sunset.

Such a great location and atmosphere, felt like I was on proper holidays. Really good food with my highlight being the scallops. But the seafood platter was also so fresh and really big portion. The wine was like 3 sips though so they could be a bit more generous with that. Otherwise Great experience!

Little Rock, set on the old railway station in a shipping container, is a lovely inviting restaurant with great sea views, contemporary decor with a warm atmosphere. The tables well spaced out and you’re made to feel very welcome from the start. We were a little late due to traffic, the waitress assured us it would be no problem and the kitchen would be fine to wait . We had a couple of beers while we looked through the menu, which had a good variety of dishes complemented with daily catch specials. The choices we made were crab with a sour dough and scallops with the cod cheeks, peppery watercress and skin on fries to follow. We did want oysters to share but sadly that had run out. Both starters were great, the crab well prepared and no shell, the scallops well cooked with a nice colour on the outside while remaining succulent. The main courses did not disappoint, often cod cheeks can be over cooked, not these, the chef had got the timing perfect with crispy batter and moist cod flesh inside, the chips and cress complemented perfectly the meal.To finish off a knickerbocker glory and raspberry ice, both delicious. An expresso to finish rounded off a very enjoyable meal with my son and the a great start our trip to the rugby World Cup opening ceremony and game in Paris. The waitress was great, knowing when to talk and we had a good chat about the catering industry.Highly recommend if you want great food and service try this place.

The staff were very lovely - easy going and helpful. We had a few bits and shared - the catch of the day with the herb sauce and tartar sauce was so delicious! Reasonably priced too for the quality of food and service.

We have been here several times now, we go back as the food is wonderful. We have only been on warm, dry, sunny days as sitting outside makes you feel and think you could be in a hot European coastal town. The staff are always happy to help and are knowledgeable about the menu.

Visited Little Rock on bank holiday Monday with our two young people for relaxing fish lunch. This is our second visit this summer, although not local to Folkestone it is a wonderful day out and this must include good food on the beach. I enjoyed the catch of the day, plaice and skin on chips accompanied by the heritage tomato salad, washed down with Sea Change Rose Spumante, perfect! The knickerbocker glory was devoured by our daughter and others enjoyed the ice cream. The ambiance and charmingly efficient staff will guarantee our return.

Over rated, over priced.. had high hopes for this place, but staff weren’t too accommodating, we’re going through closing up routines as early Y as 9pm But worst was the shocking poor Burata main course, which was certainly starter sized, and £4:50 for two slices of bread was an absolute rip off.. at that rate it would be £20+ a loaf…. On which planet. Won’t rush back
