“Under a new management since early 2025 with a pub on the ground floor and restaurant (white table cloths) overlooking the harbour on the 1st floor. We received a very attentive 5* service and the both the fish pie and the sea bass dish were delicious. The Mariner is venue for live music on a fortnight basis.
Highly recommend”

“Absolutely fantastic place to stay, the room was soo much more than what we expected - just fabulous! And the most amazing and welcoming hosts, if you expect a lot, you will get more!!! And Folkestone surprised us so much, it’s absolutely beautiful! It was supposed to be an overnight stay to have an easy access to the tunnel crossing but we will definitely be back ?”

“I like craft beer so when I saw a beer shop then thought why not try it.
Not doubt nice bar in the centre of town offering a selection of craft beers. But I visited the variety wasn't that cool. Still had a pint, enjoy the atmosphere and move on. Good service though. Hope be back again.”

“Nice place overall. Birria sauce was very lacking. High prices but tacos in particular didn't really justify their price. Decent enough to stop in too. Given 4 stars as a few tweaks would make a big difference.”
