Proper old school fry up, well cooked at reasonable prices. Try the mug of milky coffee which is the best in town.

This is a proper down to earth greasy spoon café. The decor looks like it's still trapped in the 1970s but don't let that put you off. Sure it won't win any design awards, but at least it's not trying to be something it's not.You won't find any pretentious and overpriced paninis and vanilla lattés here. Just reasonably priced, fresh cooked food and fry-ups. Of course it won't be to everyone's taste, but for the price you pay you get exactly what you expect. The staff are great and this is the kind of place where they know all the regulars by name. For under a fiver (£4.30 - January 2016) you can stuff yourself with a fry-up English breakfast and mug of tea - and fill yourself up for most of the day. Something you can't do at any of the other nearby "chain" coffee shops where you'll be lucky to get a tea and a sandwich for anywhere under £5 let alone get change.Plenty of character and worth a try if you're in the area. You'll either love it or hate it. But if you take it for what it is, and you love this sort of food, you'll love it!
