Walked in, sat down, ordered and waited 45 minutes, in those 45 minutes 2 groups came in, had mains and desert and still left. Once the food brought out, the two starters was wrong, although was fairly quick to sort that. With my gammon, the egg and pineapple was very overcooked but gammon was actually nice. Overall just took way too long than needed for 2 people and felt completely ignored by the waitor during the whole process leading up to us getting our food. Would not recommend as a quick bite to eat in the area.

Food was fantastic , only thing I didn't like about this place was noone tells you that to get food or drink you need to order at a bar, we were sitting for a while until a lady with food walked past then we were like "can we please order and she was like "order by the bar"" otherwise it was good.

TBH we expected to be sat outside as we had our dog with us but... Best doggie welcome we could ask for...I was probably in my late teens to very early twenties when I last visited the pub and WOW!! The welcome was just as good now as it was back in the 1980s!! The place may have changed but that warm smile and hearty welcome has never disappeared!! So glad we dropped in.... AMAZING!!!

Such a surprise to see Craig the chef in here as he did leave Greene King over a month ago. He was chef in The Spyglass and Kettle, Flying Saucer and Hungry Fox all in Gillingham. If he is working the Greene King pubs as a relief chef we will certainly follow him. He cooks to how you want your food done. Mum has poached cod instead of battered and he always does this for her. I assume he is helping out Greene King as and when he can but please dont let him go again. He is a real credit to your restaurants. Loved it and we all enjoyed ourselves as we do everyday but today knowing our food was going to be top notch made it all the better. Thank you as always. Bob and family.

Ate here last night with friends. The food was piss poor if I'm honest. I had the pie with mash potatoes and broccoli. I couldn't even chew through the broccoli, and the mash potatoes was awful, it was hard and dry. A good job there was gravy to get that down.The only reason it's not 1 star was for the staff at the bar. They were super friendly and really nice to us. Just a shame the food was as bad as it was.

The food is always of the highest quality; very hot and full of flavour. I regularly order on the Greene King app and each time I order, my food and drink arrive at my table very promptly. There are plenty of items on the food and drink menu and it is very well structured. There is something for everyone.The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and they always answer any questions I have. The pub is always very clean and it is very vibrant; especially what you want after a long day at work!Thanks as always for everything and I look forward to many more visits in the future :)

Not worth a visit. Overpriced for what it is. I even Emailed them to advise of my disappointment and heard nothing back. Lacks customer service and good quality food and drinks. Cold nasty soggy prawns with a dry jacket this meal was not worth what I paid- was advertised as a seafood medley… awful.

I would give zero star if possible. Definitely would not recommend. Food was slow and when it arrived, some were overcooked, baked beans had no sauce and some items were missing from certain meals.We ordered this sharing platter that had nachos and as you can see in the picture, IT WAS DISGUSTING!!! It is not even nachos. I would say it's just some sort of cut up pieces of pastry.When we went to complain, staff was ok in terms of agreeing to give us the missing items, however did not really apologise and we had to wait another half an hour for this.Definitely would not recommend anyone to come here. And not forgetting to mention that the kitchen staff definetly need a lot of improvement.
