It’s becoming increasingly impossible to get a pizza made from the pizza counter. There is never an assistant available and just a sign up saying it’s closed. They should open it say 4-8 so at least you can go and get one instead of so many wasted journeys

Good value and extensive range. One criticism- when they move product location they do not move the overhead signage so nothing is situated where they indicate it to be!

Tried telephoning to speak to a human being with a query at the Gravesend store. TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE.Ended up at a customer service desk. Who could not even find Gravesend store.I only order from Asda for an elderly friend. Would not use them myself!

My son is Autistic and so we need a little extra support when shopping - the staff are always kind and welcoming. My only gripe is that the marked prices don’t always match the actual prices which is frustrating when shopping on a budget. I use the scan and go to avoid overspending but it would be nice if the prices were more accurate. Thank you to all the staff who support my son.

Woman on self checkout today at 5:45 decided to make my life hard and took my basket, I wanted to carry my stuff to my bike at the door but she said no and snatched it. Power trip or what, some people choose to be cnnuts others are born that way.

We used to really like Asda Gravesend but it seems to be going downhill rapidly. Outside areas are so dirty now, stock levels are rubbish, I know there has been some supply and demand issues with certain products but it seems extreme in this store, other stores are not having the issues this store seem to have, if there is stock available on the top shelf which hasn't been put out despite an empty shelf, staff seem very put out if you ask for help to get it down, shame as we used to like coming to this Asda but find we just avoid the place now as we're always left with a list of stuff we can't get and just feels unwelcoming.

Tobacco kiosk staff rude, just leave you standing there and walk off.... I'm still waiting to be served. No one has any sense of urgency. Wasting my time

I do not recommend shopping in this place!!!! All the security in here apart from Steve is so rude accusing me of vaping and when I come down they’re the next day 4 security following me trying to make me leave when I did nothing wrong!!!!!! I will never step foot in this place! They don’t even listen to what the customers have to say without threatening to call the police

Came to do some food shopping. They have installed new chiller cabinets, which look great. They have also rearranged the locations of many of their items, which made my shopping trip more arduous and irritating.

I had a truly horrendous experience at Asda Gravesend on the morning of August 22nd, 2023. I was using the Scan&Go service as a loyal customer and member, expecting a seamless and convenient shopping experience. However, my encounter with an utterly unhelpful and inconsiderate staff member named Raj left me completely disappointed and frustrated.During the so-called "Quality Check" routine, which I'd argue should be renamed to "Customer Discomfort Check," Raj displayed a shocking lack of empathy and common sense. A fellow shopper, a lady with a child, was grappling with a heavy bag filled with groceries. Despite her clear explanation that the bag was too heavy to lift and place into the shopping cart, Raj insisted that she had to comply for the Quality Check to take place. I was appalled by Raj's unreasonable stance, especially considering the lady's courteous request to perform the Quality Check with the bag on the floor. The situation escalated when Raj, in an unnecessarily aggressive manner, yanked the shopping cart away from the lady and her child. This not only startled and upset them but also showcased a shocking disregard for customer well-being. To my disbelief, the lady ended up lifting the heavy bag herself, likely out of frustration and exasperation caused by Raj's behavior. The entire concept of a "Quality Check" during Scan&Go transactions is baffling and counterproductive. Instead of enhancing the customer experience, it seems to be geared towards making customers feel like potential thieves. The Scan&Go system was introduced to streamline the shopping process and save customers time, but Raj's actions achieved quite the opposite. Her behavior consumed precious time and left me questioning the rationale behind such a poorly executed procedure. To add insult to injury, Raj had the audacity to complain about her supposed favor of bagging the items she had removed during the scanning process. This was a clear attempt at deflecting responsibility for her earlier behavior and only served to further tarnish the already dismal experience. In conclusion, my visit to Asda Gravesend on August 22nd, 2023, was nothing short of a nightmare, all thanks to the unpleasant encounter with Raj and the absurd "Quality Check" procedure. I strongly urge the management of Asda Gravesend to reevaluate their staff training, customer service protocols, and the effectiveness of their Scan&Go system. As a (formal now) customer, I expected much better treatment and a smoother shopping experience, which sadly turned out to be a far-fetched dream on this particular day.
