We sampled various dishes at this restaurant. My wife specifically requested no sugar in her meals, yet we found the Aloo Gobi unexpectedly sweet. This might not be due to added sugar, but perhaps from a pre-made sauce; we were not particularly impressed by it. On the other hand, the Tarka Dal was exceptionally flavorful, and both the Bhindi and Palak Paneer were quite delicious. Another downside was the Tandoori Roti's price - at over £3 each, it's notably more expensive than what we've seen elsewhere in the UK, where you can get nine for a similar price in Leicester. Overall, the experience was decent for the area.

We visited Shapla last night upon recommendation and it didn’t disappoint! The flavours in the curries were lovely, my partner had the lamb blast and the meat was so soft and the flavours were perfect! Food was hot, portion size was great, staff had excellent customer service and the atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. Cannot wait to eat here again, we will be recommending to others too
