Disappointed pay so much for a cake and pre order and the shop can’t get it right .I wouldn’t normally write a review but seems from below there’s a trend as i have had a number issues previously.

Terrible branch of cake box. Cakes are not fresh at all. They are cold, hard and to be honest taste pretty horrid I’ve had to throw away!! Do not recommend.

Don't think il be using this gravesend cake box anymore ordered a cake click and collect within 1 hour the lady called me half n hour before to tell me they have run out of strawberrys she said I could have kiwi or orange as a replacement and put large orange pieces on my small 8 inch cake it just didn't look right atall ,it's very unprofessional to call a client and say you have run out of strawberries especially when the fruit stores and tesco is right next to the cake box shop I'm not happy atall and didn't even get a discount on the cake very very disappointed especially when I always buy my cakes from your shop .

My Mrs ordered me a cake for 1.30pm collection (25/1/24). When I went to collect the cake at 2pm and the cake wasn't even ready and i was told to wait about 20 mins for the cake to be ready as the shop Internet weren't working.I have been a regular customer of egg free cake box Gravesend branch almost from the day one and we get a cake box every month if not definitely every other month ( i just love their cake) and i can tell if the Victoria sponge cake base is FRESH or NOT.On this occasion the Victoria sponge cake wasn't fresh and i have experienced it in past as well where the sponge cake wasn't fresh and must have been couple of days old but i never complained or left a feed back.I MUST SAY I LOVE CAKE BOX and i hope I won't experience the issue again.

I ordered a Red Velvet Rose cake with a handwritten message. The cake itself was gorgeous but it is mostly cream and air, and not a lot of sponge, which was disappointing as I had wanted a red velvet cake.
