Lovely place and lovely food! My Great Grandmother was Polish and my Grandmother half German/Polish so when I discovered this place I was so happy! The food brings back good memories for me of my Grandmother's cooking which was a mash up of German and Polish dishes.

First time going to a Polish restaurant... Absolutely loved it.The portion of food was beyond enough, I had the schabowy with mashed potatoes and the awesome salad. The ambience is awesome, surrounded by people who are actually enjoying their meals quietly.10/10 for everything! Will most definitely come back!

The food was delicious. Be prepared for big, generous portions. We had cabbage rolls and pork schnitzel. Meat was covering the whole plate. They have a new small menu and that's always a good sign. If I lived nearby I would visit this place often!

Well over priced, my polish nan jumped out of her grave upon knowing that I just read the menu. And that in itself is an impressive feat, bear in mind the orthodox burial process being where the female is buried directly under her husband. Most of eastern european food is more or less peasant food. Ie thick pastry, potatoes being the staple to survive the times. This is wayyyyyy overpriced compared to other Slavic places for an average cuisine and small portions.

First time trying the food at a local restaurant have walked past often. Definitely not disappointed and really enjoyed our evening there.

checked out the menu and I am stunned with the greed levels. 18£ for one dish for 1 person seems a bit far fetched given the simple peasant food they offer, three potato pancakes of a size of your fist for 8£, and what’s inside? yes, you are right, fried raw potato mash with a bit of onion, flour and egg. all those uncommon, exotic and expensive ingrediens in three small pancakes for just 8£, wow, what a bargain. in fact, it is deeply dishonest towards customers to charge almost 10£ for 3 small and thin pancakes made of the cheapest ingredients you can think of. It’s a daylight robbery in fact.Customers vote with feet, I was planning to become a customer myself but being Polish myself, I understand how basic the food on offer here is and how it is made using really inexpensive produce (peasant food, remember?) but in this case, peasant food with a hefty price tag added. I disagree with it, I do not support greed with my hard-earned money, and for that reason I will not become a customer unless they revise their pricing policies and profit margins.I obviously understand they exist for profit but the prices here seem to have gone out of hand a bit. such prices imho are a great way to lose customers (I am an example), and a recipe for disaster especially in that very ‘wealthy’ Gravesend/Northfleet area! the simple truth of ‘lower your prices to get the customer in’ seemingly did not cross the owners’ minds yet. in result, they do not get enough customers so they rise the prices in the rush for profit but by doing so, they are not getting customers because they are v. expensive already, in result they continue to rise the prices in order to compensate for lack of customers… a neverending circle of stupidity fuelled by greed and vice versa.in picture: what you are getting for your 8£, minus one pancake. they are essentially hash browns. would you pay 8£ for three hash browns?

Have been going to this very traditional Polish restaurant for some time, but hadn't been for a while. Definitely gone down hill since our last visit - the menu has changed, with very little now for the smaller appetite. Coffee machine not working, no dry white wine. Food is still very tasty but portion sizes are enormous so much of the food went to waste. What we had was very tasty but we found the menu very limited now, clearly aimed solely at the Polish community only, won't be back I'm sorry to say.
