I bought my birthday cake here a while back (it was a cake, with 12 cupcakes), and it was hands down the worst cake I ever ate in my life. I wish I had complained back then but I didn't and wasted £30+ pounds.Would not recommend.

Totally unprofessional!!! Went in to collect my brother’s 18th birthday cake and found out on arrival that they misspelled his name. The woman proceeded to tell me that she was the one who took my order originally in store and she supposedly confirmed the spelling twice with me, when that definitely didn’t happen. No apology, nothing from her besides a cold, rude, totally disgusting attitude. To specify, she had green hair with loads of piercings and looked as rough as they come and like she couldn’t be bothered to be there. Surely Lola’s would be a bit more professional with their staff in terms of behaviour and their demeanour. This was supposed to be a really special birthday for my brother, the big 18, and yet it’s been ruined due to this woman’s inability to do her very simple job. Do better Lola’s and please make an example of her, or at least train her as she clearly hasn’t been in the past.

Ordered a birthday cake and it was delicious. Very elegant and nice. Perfection. I will now always get birthday cakes from Lola's Cupcakes Bluewater.Much better than anywhere else. The cream of the cake is perfect. Not sickly sweet either. So moreish and brilliant. The girl at the counter was ever so polite upon collection too. They kept me well informed as the delivery was late. Brilliant service.

Red velvet cupcake did not have normal butter cream frosting on it. It tasted sour almost like expired milk. Maybe I'll try chocolate next time. On the plus side the hot chocolate was lovely.
