The food is absolutely delicious. Coffee was excellent. Delightful surroundings in a quaint English High Street. Waiter service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent breakfast and decent service. This place is always busy so getting a table is somewhat a challenge, but fairly priced for the quality, worth the wait.

Such a cosy cafe. Lady serving and seating people went out of her way to make us comfortable. So kind. Food and drink was also excellent and really good value. Loved it.

Three friends on a pre Christmas break staying at Hythe Imperial, walked into town for shopping and sightseeing. When enquiring about where to snack locally every shopkeeper recommended the Nutmeg Cafe and, we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was delightful, very busy but still recieved excellent service, the menu was extensive and the cakes were delicious. If we hadn't already eaten at the hotel we would have loved to experience lunch there. What a little gem this place is with excellent food, service, atmosphere and very personal. The owner and staff obviously take great pride in this business and it shines through for all to see, would definitely visit there again. Happy Christmas to all and thank you Hythe for your hospitality xxx
Darling & cozy cafe on Hythe High Street. Delicious watercress soup and thick brown bread with melted cheddar. Pop in and enjoy!

Visited The Nutmeg at the weekend, and I had the most delicious breakfast (we went for the avocado on toast and tomatoes on toast) - both were faultless. The service was friendly and fast, nothing was too much trouble for them. Best coffee and breakfast in Hythe!

Dog friendly cafe, owners and staff very nice and helpful, even have a dog menu. Very busy when we were there, it's not a big place so floor space for doggo can be a challenge. Food very nice, worth the

Ciabatta contained what looked to be hard plastic or possibly glass, that I crunched into when taking a bite. Could have had terrible consequences. The manager was unapologetic and simply said she wouldn’t charge for it. Blamed Waitrose saying it must have been in the bag of salad used as garnish. What tosh. Avoid like the plague. They could kill you there!
Delicious fresh food.
