Three friends on a pre Christmas break staying at Hythe Imperial, walked into town for shopping and sightseeing. When enquiring about where to snack locally every shopkeeper recommended the Nutmeg Cafe and, we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was delightful, very busy but still recieved excellent service, the menu was extensive and the cakes were delicious. If we hadn't already eaten at the hotel we would have loved to experience lunch there. What a little gem this place...read full review

Visited The Nutmeg at the weekend, and I had the most delicious breakfast (we went for the avocado on toast and tomatoes on toast) - both were faultless. The service was friendly and fast, nothing was too much trouble for them. Best coffee and breakfast in Hythe!

Dog friendly cafe, owners and staff very nice and helpful, even have a dog menu. Very busy when we were there, it's not a big place so floor space for doggo can be a challenge. Food very nice, worth the
