Went for dinner today with a friend. Not an easy couple one coeliac and one with gluten and dairy intolerance. The staff were amazing and checked out ingredients with the chef who accommodated our needs and suggested alternatives. It was lovely being able to be included and we felt very valued. The staff and chef were incredible. Thank you very much

Visited here for Mother’s Day as a family of 6! Regulars to the pub, we wanted to bring our family here. Food was outstanding, everyone enjoyed every dish and the quality was incredible. Service from everyone working, from drinks to serving food.. was amazing! Staff very attentive and made the experience very special. Thank you to all! Dave, Bernie & family!

A party of 11 for an evening meal. The food was great, good service, the staff were helpful and cheerful. A lovely time was had, and we were the last to leave. There is plenty of car parking. Would certainly recommend the Rising Sun Inn for a place to go for a quiet drink or for a meal.

All good. A new year's eve outing into the Kent countryside. Friendly staff and a great menu.

We had a Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago. Food was enjoyable and there was plenty of meat, could have definitely been warmer. The service was extremely slow but I wouldn’t judge them on that if you were here as a family of 4, as we were a very large group so it’s to be expected. The location/parking isn’t ideal depending on what car you’re in.

Lovely staff. But not a good menu if you are vegetarian or vegan. One of our party had sausage and mash which was a miniscule portion and at £12.95 was vastly overpriced. Music was very loud made it hard to converse and the lighting was very dim.

We stayed at The Rising Sun as we were heading to Brands Hatch the following morning, the staff were friendly and the room was lovely. Breakfast in the morning was top, the chef was on his own and nothing was too much trouble for him, thanks for a great stay guys, we will be back next

Popped in for a Sunday lunch, all I can say is fabulous!!!All the staff were polite and attentive. The lunch it's self was one of the best we've had, plenty of food and hot the wife loved the rolled lamb shoulder.I know this place had a bad name but it's really changed. We will be back. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at the Rising Sun!It's a very old building, so there are some quirks here and you can really tell the new management is working hard on updating some of the more run-down or out of date aspects. They were so nice and accommodating, making our stay feel really special.Aside from the cooked breakfast, all the food was simply amazing. They have a wide range to choose from and there's not much else to say than delicious. Finally, the area is absolutely beautiful. There's tons to do between 10-20 minutes away by car, and driving down the road to get there is very impressive. It's not a good place to stay if you don't have a car though, as there aren't any pavements along the roads.
