We walked in and walked out . Poor menu as no staff downstairs asked if we could go to the restaurant upstairs and was told they could not accommodate us again as no staff upstairs as well. If you can't offer your service don't open

Hard cool skinny fries no salad or decoration with the mushroom starter shut at 9.30pm asking us to leave at 9.20 so they could lock doors after stopping service at bar 10 minutes before then before that the drains out side the front door are smelly other than that the river is

Something that wasn't quite right was easily and quickly sorted. Lovely mothers day breakfast here.

Yet again a total waste of time, (12.30 am on 20/03/24), queue for over 1/2 hour to get served our drinks, Large number waiting to get served ?, many like ourselves gave up, always seems the same, must be losing a fortune in lost sales. Cannot understand how it keeps open. A shame as with any decent management it would be a lovely pub given its position.

Had two lunches here lately and they were not the best. Usually only one or two servers for the whole restaurant, food portions were tiny and prices were expensive. Two hours to serve 2 courses is really poor. Feels like this restaurant is badly due a makeover.

We had the Sunday roast (one beef, and one lamb) which was very good, and reasonably priced. The desserts (Churo sundae and triple chocolate brownie) was also delicious. The service was excellent. We were very happy with our meal.

The worst breakfast experience we have had there. We asked for a different table as the one near the coffee machine gets surrounded by people, after 20 mins we had to ask them to take our order, another 20 mins and the order arrived once we moved things to the right plates the food was good. The toaster appears to be on it's last legs, they ran out of clean plates, bread and cutlery.

Went for breakfast at 9.10..their was no pastries ,plates ,bowls ,mixed Berry mix ,coffee, a toaster 4 slice, which was not adequate for the amount of customers. It took 1 hour for our food to arrive, and when it did it had been sitting on the heater for 15 mins. Cold food, the problem lies with not enough staff, for the amount of people. There was only 4 staff. Its not not there fault, very dissatisfied.

Quiet bit of lunch with my mum. Wet day so the atmosphere wasn’t the greatest but great pub. Go there in the summer, by the river. You won’t regret it!!

Food was meh, dirty bowls. Service was chaotic, server told us to wait for a table forgot about us then acted surprised when we told him we had been waiting.

Came here today for a breakfast treat for mothers day. Absolutely awful. They lost our order for a start, waited an hour for our order. Waiter serving us was so rude, and very unhelpful. We had an hour slot, but after half hour into our slot everything was being packed away! Coffee machine turned off, squash all packed away , and buffet all packed up. On top of that started to hoover while we were eatingWe will not be returning

One day we went here for a walk and a coffee. We had our 6 month old puppy and asked the lady if we could bring our puppy in for a coffee. Rather than a professional “I’m afraid not” we were greeted with “absolutely not!” in a very rude stuck up tone.
