The food was very nice and the service was excellent. We booked one of their dog friendly tables in the restaurant and the staff brought a bowl of water and treats for our dog which was a nice touch.

We enjoyed a very nice dinner for 5 people in a sweet ambiance, the food was good and served in generous portions. Also our waitress was very kind.

A lovely family get together (parents and grandchild) at this friendly pub with great food and a nice wine selection. We were lucky enough to try the new menu and it was fantastic! I went for a special of an asparagus and cheddar pie (vegetarian option) and my nephew braved the Lamb Shank Shepherd’s Pie which was pretty sensational! Shirley was a lovely waitress, getting everything right and super efficient! A lovely lunch!Vegetarian options: Very good! Nice selection!Parking: Very easy: big car park

Travelled 40 min journey for my sons 21st birthday because been lovely food in past. Booked table for 7 and was seated next to the door which was draughty all night and people stood there chatting with the door open. Then after selecting menu was told 4 main dishes not available. 2 of which we selected and was looking forward too especially the ale pie and mixed grill. 2 of us asked for sweet potato fries and was told didn't have those either. Been a busy weekend and run out. So chose mash with my steak. Then my steak came up with chips so had to go back. Asked for vinegar and got mustard and 1 of us asked for no ice in coke and came with ice. Overall staff helpfully and polite but was disappointed in general especially on my sons birthday. In the past the pub has been lovely and food good and choices but not last night.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free choices good

My wife and I have been there two weeks ago and we loved the food, and restaurant in general. The place has a nice and cosy feel about it.The staff were really nice, and the food was just perfect. It was nice to see people coming i with their dogs, it definitely added to the friendliness of this place. We can only recommend it and we hope to be back

Food was ok. I had the burger but the beef rib it was topped with resembled cat food and that just put me off. Otherwise it was fine.
