Love this little pub. A real old school traditional boozer. Enjoyed using a real juke box and was really impressed by the range feminine hygiene products in the ladies. Very thoughtful.

Straight forward honest to goodness pub with some nice features and a charming little courtyard to the rear. Does what pubs used to do. Very well.

This place really deserves the name "hidden gem" (although it's on a main road). We've had the vegan Sunday roast now a number of times and also taken friends and family who've had the non-vegan roast. Both are fantastic - great portion sizes, freshly cooked veg (not been hanging around in a bain Marie for ages), vegan option has always been different and delicious. Side of cauliflower cheese is amazing (vegan, but even non-vegans love it). Vegan desserts are also fabulous and again you don't have to be vegan to love them - quote "I couldn't see how they could make this without butter, but it's fabulous".Service is great and the landlady is lovely and welcoming.Reasonable sized beer garden which has shade and open to the sunshine so everyone is catered for.

Nice little boozer. Decent pint can be had. Beer garden is a pleasant suntrap when the weather is good. Limited beer selection, but worth a drop in for cheeky one.

Great pub that's in town but when you step inside you could be anywhere. Surprisingly large beer garden which is really well presented. Normally two cask beers on, one of which is brewed specifically for the pub (Gemstone Ales). Well worth a visit!

What a fantastic little pub, Val the landlady is a sweetheart and the staff are brilliant too, the beer is always great tasting and you can tell they take good care of the beer lines. I had a roast dinner here today and it was absolutely top draw, would highly recommend to any one to give the pub a try ?
