The food is decent (not the best Papa Johns by any stretch) but the delivery times are ridiculous. They always take at least an hour to deliver and sometimes the sides look like they've been knocked around like the other reviewers said. The local Dominoes takes between 20-30 min to deliver and it's much further away.

Awful experience, cold pizza my sides look like they were thrown against a wall. Really doughy and no cheese on the pizza. Utterly disgusting after previously ordering from the other Maidstone store and it has always been great.

Took over an hour to arrive. Naturally, it was stone dead cold and all rubbery like it had been Cooked hours ago. Toppings were so light I might have well ordered cheese and tomato. Didn't get the sauce pots we ordered either. Total rubbish.

I placed an order online for collection at 6pm .I recieved a call at 3:30pm saying my order was ready to collect. This was not what I had completed on the website. The colleague then argued with me that I couldn't have possibly placed the order for later as nothing had come through their end with that request.I then explained that I had placed it for later as the only way to request to collect at a later time means a drop down time list appears on the website. Which I selected the collection time from. This doesn't appear if you request to collect asap.I was then told again that I must have been wrong.I was told that my order was on hold until my original requested time of 6pm.My husband collected the pizzas at 6pm.Once we got them home and looked at the items, we quickly realised that they had been sat for hours and reheated.My husband called the branch and explained our disatisfaction. We were then challenged again and told we were wrong again with our order time. I then spoke to Jes who also told me I hadnt placed the order for collection later.I explained that the pizzas were inedible, dry and disgusting. I was dissatisfied that I had basically been called a liar on more than on occasion and was pretty disgusted that even though all I was asking was for a fresh pizza I was told no.

Thought I would try Papa John's for the first time and see how it stacks up against leading pizza places, ordered delivery and the pizza arrived really quickly (about on par with domino's).I opened the box and the pizza I ordered was a half and half and it looked like it had been dropped I ordered half spicy and half pepperoni which I now couldn't give to my daughter because she doesn't like spicy food, the pizza wasn't particularly nice in comparison to domino's in my opinion and the piri chicken side was dry and tasted like lighted seasoned cardboard. I wouldn't recommend Papa John's to anyone when there are better options in my opinion
