“Cannot praise the food highly enough. We visited because of the positive Google and trip advisor reviews. The cafe is a little understated but is a real hidden gem and well worth all the 5 star reviews. The food is Egyptian and felt fresh and home cooked. We had some gorgeous chicken and rice with bread and yoghurt. If we were local I would be there all the time.”

“Went last Wednesday for a bite of lunch down by the harbour in the sunshine. An unassuming place from the outside. The Cafe is divided into 2 parts with the second being a retail area which we didn't try. Archive Cafe has an interesting display counter where you can see exactly what's on offer. Inside seating area different aswell as a clutch of outside tables looking over the harbour. We chose a couple of quiches from the specials with salad. Mine was Mushroom & blue cheese & a side of coleslaw, all made in the kitchen. loved every last mouthful. Followed it by a Mixed berry Swedish bun, just so moist & packed with flavour & a coffee where clearly the "barrista" knew their stuff - a mere americano at that. Worth searching out.”

“Had Sunday lunch with my family. We all had the roasts (chicken, beef and vegetarian) and we all agreed that the food was delicious and lived up to its “best roast on the coast” accolade. We didn’t think we would be able to eat desserts too after the large portion roasts but we gave it a go ? and we ate every bit as it was delicious. Thank you Olby’s: great food, great service and great atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.”

“Amazing food, nice staff, great prices! You can get a full english+coffe for less than 7£, and it's a big portion. Family friendly with the option of sitting in or out (great if you have a dog). I will definitely be coming back!”

“A good friend of mine was having a sad night and ended up eating alone here. The staff were wonderful to her and really looked after her and made sure she had a lovely evening. I phoned from another town to ask if they would be willing to send her a drink from me as I couldn’t be there with her. They couldn’t have been more helpful and ensured that she got a nice glass of red wine delivered to her table. So nice that they took the time. Thank you Evi for your kindness. I will definitely visit in person when I am in the area. ?”
