It's in a lovely location but it's not impressive. People just don't like to go there.I didn't like the coffee too. And it was closed this whole summer time 2023.But cozy.

The staff are always polite, friendly and accommodating. Drinks have always been nice and hot with any additional flavouring not being overpowering. There is toilets, it's coded which is on the receipt. Unfortunately the toilets aren't disabled friendly, but entrance to the store is with plenty of seating inside and outside seating area.

Eventually received friendly welcome, when my order was eventually processed it was left to stand and get colder between every stage of preparation while everything was straightened up and rearranged on the counter before being given to me, COLD. If the amount of care and effort being put into making sure the absolute minimum amount of cream and sprinkling had been put into providing me with a lovely HOT and creamy maple latte that I have received at every other Costa I visit, I wouldn't have felt it necessary to post this review. SHAME

I visited this store earlier today with my family. There was a bit of a line as it was busy. I placed my order with a lovely blonde lady who appeared to be new. My initial order was fine then I decided to change some of my order, this was fine but the person who had to amend it ( she had brown hair) appeared rather irritated. I then had to change my order to having take away cups as I thought that I might have to leave due to my child acting up. This request was was received with contempt by the server who then proceeded to do it through what appeared like gritted teeth. She was visibly irritated and I mentioned it, the lovely blonde lady stated that it had been a long morning and smiled tentatively…The lady with brown hair could do with some training on customer service, if she is unable to “put a smile on” and deal with the public then perhaps she should work in another field.

overall visit was BAD. 1st, tables were extremely sticky and I asked for mine to be wiped down and the staff member gave me a dirty cloth and told me to ‘give it back when I’m done’ - fair enough if you was busy but there was 3 members behind the till having a chat so I don’t see why a staff member could’ve not cleaned the table for me, but hey there’s worse problems I guess. 2nd, I came with my mum and she has mild Parkinson’s and therefore requires mugs with handles, for some reason there was no clean cups as there was a table full of dirty ones (see photo attached). It was takeaway cups ONLY, so my mother prepares for this situations and always brings a spare mug in her bag. Anyway we bought our drinks, sat down and I poured my mothers drink into her mug we brought with us -this was a standard cup of tea mug, no safety hazard at all. However the same lady who had served us, told me that we could not do this and had to leave unless I put it back into the takeaway cup?? Despite buying the drinks here. I explained my mother had Parkinson’s and that we brought are drinks here, but apparently it’s against store policy to use your own cup, but how is this any different from people who come in and use their own takeaway cups???? 3rd, there was no brown sugar out, so I asked at the till (in which the staff rolled her eyes at me and said ‘what is it this time’), being the better person and ignoring the rudeness because maybe she was having a bad a day or just has a stuck up attitude I said ‘sorry but I can’t see any of your brown sugar out, got any more?’ In which she replied with ‘take the hint, if it not out we anit got it, sure it won’t kill to not have sugar once, just use the sweeteners init’I can confirm I won’t be back again, but hey not like one customer is gunna do damage just thought I’d worn others. And no the sign on the winter does not say anything about the takeaway cups, just says about the toilets being customers only.

The staff are the worst, they treat it as their personal club and get annoyed when they have to do their job, i do hope the head office will do a surprise vist on this team, myself and my family will anywhere else but here.
Was given half a cup of chocolate, the rest was foam, went outside to sit on the paved high street, and was sitting in what was almost a landfill site, rubbish all around the chairs and tables, which no one had bothered to clean up. The rest of the street was relatively clean - they could have made an effort for their customers sake.

Great service, but no normal sandwiches left and toasted chicken and bacon and cheese sandwich was very salty.Normally I enjoy Costa food
