Fish was really fresh and chips were amazing. Great price, a Friday night favourite!

We have used this place for years but now we will never go back. Last week we ordered fish and chips for family who were visiting. It was disgusting. When I complained, I was told I could have 2 kebabs to make up for it. I have just rang to order them but was told that we hadn't returned the food last week. It was disposed that evening and they didnt say anything about returning it last week. The conversation was contrived and unhelpful. Very disappointing and annoying with the response. Obviously they have avoided any acceptance of how bad it was. Frankly they don't value long standing customers.

Ordered large cod and chips and a few other bits cost was cheap chips were stale and tasted awful as for the large cod it was so small and very greasy would not recommend this place

I admit I ordered a children's fish and chips, so wasn't expecting a huge piece of fish, but what I got was laughable! I literally measured the "piece" of fish I received...3 inches! the chips were barely warm , in fact some of them were stone cold, and looked as if they had been cooked and reheated, and tasted of old fat...first and last time of ordering from here, I was surprised as they had some good reviews, I can only assume I got them on a bad day, having said that there are also a few bad reviews, so I won't chance it again.

Absolutely love this place, nice local family run chippy, where you can buy your fish Friday, mushy peas, gravy, curry sauce, kebab meat and chips, an array of kids meals beef burger and chips, chicken nuggets and chips, kebab meat and chips, fishcakes and chips, sausage and chips, saveloy and chips, my son's favourite is chicken and mushroom pukka pie chips and beans. They also do apple pies which taste amazing. Food hygiene rating is excellent 5* and it lives up to that. Very friendly and highly recommended. They also deliver.Vegetarian options: They have vegetable spring rolls. It's a kid friendly place, has street parking outside, does not have wheelchair access unfortunately although the staff are more than happy to take your order from the door as it's such a time place they'll be able to hear you. Dietary requirements/food allergies, there is a notice on the wall quite clear and encourages you to notify staff of any allergies so food can be avoided or adapted.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly and family oriented.Parking: Outside of propertyWheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair access.Dietary restrictions: Allergies poster on wall. Encouraging members of the public to query foods they would like to order.
