Monday eve pizza dinner. Had arugula (rocket) salads to start - with some shaved Parmesan and light balsamic dressing. Some olives to snack on. Four different pizzas. Each was very nice. Special price of 7 pounds for main pizzas on Mondays is a deal. Staff was great even under busy pressure - Evie in particular took great care of us!

A good friend of mine was having a sad night and ended up eating alone here. The staff were wonderful to her and really looked after her and made sure she had a lovely evening. I phoned from another town to ask if they would be willing to send her a drink from me as I couldn’t be there with her. They couldn’t have been more helpful and ensured that she got a nice glass of red wine delivered to her table. So nice that they took the time. Thank you Evi for your kindness. I will definitely visit in person when I am in the area. ?

Whilst staying in the area we came in for an evening meal, this is a modern pizzeria that offers fresh local sourced food and ingredients with amazing service. The price is good pizza made here and well worth it for yhe freindly and professional service from the staff.

Such a lovely place!! 10/10 service, kind, polite, happy staff. Very accommodating with takeaway orders, take your number and give you a call when ready to collect. I came here twice and ordered gluten free pizzas - super yummy, generous toppings. Highly recommended :)Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza base available, vegan options

Great pizza's. Staff friendly. Not sure about the decor... Prices okay. Location is key as its opposite the beach.

First thing you notice when you walk in is the friendly staff, that made us feel really welcome the moment we came in, helped find us a table even though we didn't book. Then helped recommend their favourite dishes. And boy they didn't disappoint. We had the Honey Cashews (the warning addictive sign is no lie). For pizzas we had the Meat Feat <3 and a No Smoke Without Fire. Both were amazing full of flavour. Will definitely come back again and recommend to friends too. That's GB Pizza team

I Visited the Great British Pizza place last night with some mates. We indulged in a few sharers, starters, pizzas, and a charcuterie board. Overall, the food was enjoyable. The meat pizza stood out and I'd suggest getting an individual pizza unless you're really into sharing, as the portions weren't massive. The pizza was satisfying without leaving you overly full, which is great if you're planning on having a few beers afterwards. There were some standout flavours, especially a spicy sauce on one of the dishes that I really liked. The garlic bread was decent, though not extraordinary. Same goes for the flatbreads with hummus. The charcuterie board, on the other hand, was well-prepared with a good variety of cheeses, which cheese lovers would appreciate. The pizzas were good. They didn't transport me to Italy, but they were definitely a step above your average pub pizza. I'd rate the food 7 out of 10. However, the overall experience gets an 8 out of 10, mainly because of the ambiance and the staff. The staff were genuinely friendly and engaging, which added a few extra points to the experience. They were great with our group, sharing a few laughs, which made the evening more enjoyable. The beer selection was good, and the restaurant had a cozy feel. I appreciated that the menu wasn't overly extensive, giving the impression that everything is freshly prepared. Any minor issues we had were addressed promptly. All in all, a pleasant visit. Solid 8 out of 10.

Purchased 2 x take away pizzas last night. Bland, small, tasteless; over salted and not particularly hot. Probably the worse that I have come across. On top of that expensive for what they were - don't waste your money

I'll be honest: we weren't expecting very much, as we were forced to choose this restaurant to go to with our friends on the recent Bank Holiday, because I don't eat seafood, and on a Monday evening in Margate, there seem to be very few restaurants that are open... However, everything about the restaurant was a delight: the staff were charming; the prices are reasonable; and the choice of pizzas is interesting, with detailed in descriptions of the provenance of ingredients. We all had different types, and all of us thought they were amazing. I have been to Italy several times, where thin crusts are the norm, and I don't really understand the fashion for thick-crusted pizzas. This was confirmed by the beautiful, thin crust served here, and I have no hesitation in saying mine, the ham and mushroom, was the best pizza I've ever eaten. We also shared two desserts between four of us (the tiramisu, and the cheesecake of the day, which was plum and custard), which were both lovely. One thing I'd like to point out, which we really appreciated, was the acoustics. I am partially deaf, and we're all getting older, so often busy restaurants make conversations quite difficult. Yet somehow, despite hard surfaces, and the very crowded restaurant, we had absolutely no problem hearing each other, which made the evening much more enjoyable. I'd also like to say a word about the fascinating toilet, which was decorated with black and white photographs of all sorts of famous people (some of whom we didn't recognise!)! If we ever go back to Margate, we will certainly revisit this deservedly award-winning restaurant!

Cramped layout, had to move every time a server wanted to go by. Also had a garlic bread dropped on me leaving grease stains on my clothes

Great pizza place. Brilliant service too with such friendly staff. They were so accommodating to get us onto a bigger table and highchair for our toddler. They also made him a mini pizza and gave him a sticker! Best pizza place ever, we're so glad they are reopen.

I’m so shocked on the service charge £18 is a very high amount, the pizza was delicious but the service charge wasn’t worth it
