Please read ! , customer experience on easter Sunday 31st March 2024 .Simla Brasserie is worth your while !!Today I ordered a Lamb Byriani from this takeaway and I'm content with my order to say the least . It is difficult to refine all of the Ingredients to this dish but after trying from this takeaway I can firmly say they are masters of cuisine crafts . Total bliss with every bite and without the conscious regret of paying an expense for it . For less than 10 pounds (8.95 on collection) I received an abundant portion of the finest lamb dish which was partnered with a joyful vegetable curry as a side . Although I can describe my experience with simla in many words I can only ultimately say that this hidden gem is worth your while .I hope the experience is as good for you too. Happy Easter

Wow the staff are so rude, incompetent and are liars. Ordered food and 2 hours later the food had still not been delivered. when we called the restaurant to ask where it was, they said each time the food had just left…. This was 25mins apart. They lied, and then cancelled the order and told us to get a refund via just eat.Absolutely disgusting service and we will never use this take away again.I have just read your response and I’m even more disgusted with your lies. Not once did you ATTEMPT to deliver our food or call! I called the first time after 2 hours of waiting, but was told the driver had just left. We rang back 20 minutes later only to be told by a very rude man that the food had not left the building. Not to mention you hanging up the call 3 times. Your response is lies and you should be taken off of the just eat service.

Cooked to perfection. Quality produce. Spice blends and flavours incredibly authentic. One of the best curries I've had and that includes those in India. Keep it up.. Only down side... There is no restaurant anymore.

I’ve had many an Indian from a lot of restaurants and was recommended to this by my uncle. Just ordered tonight and it was the best Indian I’ve had in years. Everything tasted lovely and not greasy at all. Will be back in the next couple of weeks!

I ordered take away for delivery. My mistake it was soooo slow.Next time though more expensive, gonna use deliveries like just eat etc.Vegetarian options: Mushroom bhaji with paratha was nice.
2 hours wait for my food because the driver was out - even tho I spent £2 on an Uber driver the staff delivered my food - eventually hence the food had been kept warm at restaurant waiting for driver and once I plated my dinner the water had separated from food so I had a puddle of water mush Never again

I was recommended to try the Simla as a takeaway. The food was stone cold and very slimy, which seemed to match the owners personality. I shall not be returning back, as I’m sure there are a lot nicer Indian restaurants in the local area.

I have ordered twice since moving here and both times food was delivered hot by a polite member of staff. The food was tasty and as close to home cooked food ive tasted in a while at a reasonable price, my only gripe is paying for popodoms should be free if spending over £20 plus del fee... Definitely ordering again..

Question for the owner: when will you open the restaurant again? I miss having family meals there. Always had wonderful food whenever I have visited this restaurant.
