Had a Sunday roast take out today and it was big. Brocolli, 3 potatoes, carrots, cauli, a large yorkshire and thick slices of meat. Delish.Wheelchair accessibility: Use the side door which is easier as there are 2 front doors to go through - unless the weather's good when the outer is open. Worst bit is wheeling across the gravel carpark.

My wife and I visited one afternoon as was staying locally.Drinks were excellent and service was excellent. Pub was quiet at this time of the day so plenty of time to chat to staff and locals.High on the list for a visit next time we are in the area, will try the food next time.

Found this pub through Google maps, whilst staying in the area. Friendly welcome on arrival. Food was really good, properly homemade food! Husband had Steak and stilton pie, and I chose stuffed Pork Belly, both meals with potatoes and seasonal veg and excellent gravy. Very reasonable prices. Also good honeycomb cheesecake and I had coffee. Highly recommend. Proper pub, proper food (real pastry pie with top and bottom homemade pastry, not just casserole with pastry lid) proper nice change!

The Warren Inn is a good traditional pub, it is really an adult place. Children are welcome though, and in the summer they can play outside. We meet friends, we meet on holiday about 10 years ago, for Sunday lunch, we do this every year in early spring. The four of us had roast Beef, veg, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud. It was very good, 5 stars.Pudding is also very and traditional puds..Worth a visit.

Lovely home cooked meals. The seafood medley was very good. As was the chicken brie and cranberry pie with mash. Seasonal veg with gravy. Unfortunately the kitchen had closed so we were not able to sample the dessert menu.Vegetarian options: Options were available on the menu.Parking: At the time that we visited, it was very foggy, very dark, 7pm on a Saturday evening. There was parking, but visibility was at a bare minimum.

There were loads of choices on the boards but we decided to eat from the menu. Lasagne Verdi for me and Cod Goujons for my friend. Both were excellent, nice and hot and well presented. We were too full for any sweets (unfortunately!, maybe next time). I checked out how to get someone in a wheelchair inside and you go down the side through a high gate then into the lobby where the toilets are and through the door into the bar. The thresholds were flat so no problems wheeling someone in. The bar was large, well stocked and everything was nice and clean. One of the log burners was on but we were too slow to get that table.

My pie came out late and undercooked. The dough was horrible. When I approached them regarding this they offered to reheat the same portion. When I declined this they took the rest, I offered to pay for the chips, which I had eaten. When paying the lady demanded that I pay for half claiming it was the only time someone had ever sent. Disgusted. Will not be coming backVegetarian options: Very poor. Very limited vegetarian options for two people of our party who are vegetarian

Food was served soggy and undercooked, when we asked for this to be fixed they said they'd reheat it, but food was not returned to the table and they still wanted to charge us for the entire meal which wasn't eaten. Staff were rude and defensive about this.

We live in Stoke-On-Trent and were down visiting family who live in the area. We were staying in the caravan park opposite and on looking on Google for places to eat nearby, The Warren came up. Reviews were excellent so we decided to go and had a brilliant evening. Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent so much so that we returned a few nights later with family who live local for a meal. Will definitely visit again when returning to the area in the future.
