Church close, New RomneyAlways loved the food from Freddie and Hazel. Fresh produce, beautifully curated menus and authentic Mediterranean inspired food, a luxury you have to hunt high and low for, in an age of processed food and big soulless chains. Had take away menu tonight and ordered Pizza. Handmade on the premises dough, gorgeous toppings, delicious porcini mushrooms, and the sauces made by Fred which were to die for. Support your small local restaurants, they have a character, quality and authenticity the big guys can't copy. Looking forward to seeing what Fred and Hazel come up with in the coming months. Dymchurch Rd, New RomneyI came here on thursday with my son.The food was excellent I highly recommend the cod and chips the batter was beautiful.If I had one thing could have done with a little more sauce on the prawn cocktail but that was a personnel preference.My son had the sausage and leek pie he said his food was excellent to.The restaurant was lovely and clean and the staff were welcoming highly recommend a visit.Certainly going back.Thanks for a lovely afternoon Donna sorry its come up under my partners name but we are going to bring him andim sure he will enjoy it too

Warren Inn
Dymchurch Rd, New RomneyHad a Sunday roast take out today and it was big. Brocolli, 3 potatoes, carrots, cauli, a large yorkshire and thick slices of meat. Delish.Wheelchair accessibility: Use the side door which is easier as there are 2 front doors to go through - unless the weather's good when the outer is open. Worst bit is wheeling across the gravel carpark.

1 High St, New RomneyWhat an amazing Sunday roast and experience.The food was beautiful, hot and plenty of it. Price is very reasonable.The staff are so attentive. Always round asking if we needed anything.The pub is beautifully decorated and the garden is lovely. Shame weather not to great to enjoy it .I would highly recommend this pub. A gem!Looking forward to visiting again.

46 High St, New RomneyLovely Italian restaurant. Food is really good had the Calzone and Salmon and chilli Penne pasta. Freshly cooked to order and served hot. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Lovely coffee and Honeycomb cheese cake for desert. Well worth a visit and I would definitely recommend.

The Parade, Greatstone, New RomneyVisited Greatstone to spend time by the sea and decided on this pub for late lunch and presented with great pub grub and Elvis to boot!!! Great atmosphere, with great singing and lots of costume changes! Was a fun afternoon, the Elvis impersonator was fab and really got the crowd going. If in the area highly recommend the pub. The locals are very friendly as well as are the bar staff.

26 High St, New RomneyGreat deli, lovely honey roast ham, and homemade pies sausage rolls, and lovely quiches. Also good meal deals £7.50 for choice of freshly made sandwich, cake and coffee. Slice of quiche and salad for £5. You can also eat in now with some seats at the window, as well as take away. Also a great range of frozen meals for families and for meal for 2 and 1. Very good quality. Very friendly and helpful staff. I go every week.

Wo Sing Chinese Take Away
9-11 High St, New RomneyWe absolutely love the food from here. Recently moved to the area and figured we'd give it a try, well we have not found a dish that wasn't delicious. We done to whoever is cooking! Food is usually fast and efficient too.

Costa Coffee
37 High Street, New RomneyFrom the outside, it does not look like much an old run-down weatherd dirty building with no characteristics and not much going for it at all. An old pub i was told. Just one lonely sign saying Costa. You wouldn't know it was a costa there if it wasn't for the one sign. But open those doors, the warm welcome of fresh ground coffee and wonderful atmosphere. The perfect meeting spot a great little coffee hang out with a great big grand fireplace (more should be done with this could be a wow factor) we found two chairs that I can only describe as a gaston chair from beauty and the beast. I felt like Lord of the manor having his afternoon coffee. A very smiley young server lady told me that if you order any large coffee, you get two extras for free like hazlenut syrup and cream. So large I will have from now on. It was very delightful. The only problem with all the costa spots is their food. Nice but somewhat overpriced. Over £5 for a ham and cheese toasty pre made in a bag, in my opinion, is a tad steeapParking: There is no parking.Wheelchair accessibility: The main doorway may be a tight squeeze

Romney Spice
84-88 High St, New RomneyThis is a new venue to us and it won't be the only time we visit. Lovely old place with head banging beams, uneven walls and a proper old layout. The staff are really good at their jobs and unlike many, they smile and have a laugh with you, personally I like this. The food is delicious and not swimming in ghee, I always have a jalfreze which is aromatic, spicy without the sting of a vindaloo and here it was perfect, so very tasty, my guests ate everything that they had ordered proving that their food was also perfect. We were treated almost like family rather than just customers, thank you all at 'Romney Spice'.

Coastal Kebab
11 Dunes Rd, Greatstone, New RomneyBeen using these for the last year since moving to the area and never had an issue. The kofte is by far the best me and my partner have ever tried and we've tried a few! The chips are also the best around. Never a soggy chip, always lovely and crispy. Salad is always fresh. Notes are always read and acknowledged. Very polite staff and just lovely food. Will always use and recommend!!

21 Littlestone Rd, Littlestone, New RomneyWhen we arrived in Dymchurch this evening we discovered that our usual fish and chip shop was closed. Then I remembered the rod and line, which we had used a couple of years ago under similar circumstances.So we went there, and when I arrived, I realised it was under new ownership. I did wonder whether the quality would be the same, but I needn’t have worried.Well done to the staff, the fish and chips were very Nice. In particular, the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The chips were also nice and the serving was very generous. We had ordered medium cod and chips.Recommend!??
